I never leave negative reviews but there was almost nothing good I could say about the experience I had here.
We went around 9:45 and the place closed at 11. When we were seated, nobody came to our table for almost 20 minutes. We had to snag menus from another empty table and weren’t given even water or an acknowledgement during this time.
When we finally were able to order, our drinks (margarita and old fashioned) tasted only of artificial flavor syrup and cheap liquor. We weren’t going to make a big deal about it because you win some/you lose some when you order drinks. Sometimes things just aren’t to your liking which we were fine with. So we set aside our drinks after a few sips and proceeded to wait another 20 minutes to place our orders. At this time it’s about 10:20, and it was clear that the workers were only concerned with cleaning other tables and closing the restaurant instead of actually tending to us and the other maybe 4 tables left. We were all visibly waiting to be tended to while they tidied up.
When we finally got our food an hour after sitting down, we were surprised to only get one piece of naan for $6. The triple flavor entree was extremely underwhelming and I didn’t eat more than a few forkfuls. The mango chicken was pretty flavorful but I think that’s the only positive thing I have to say about the experience. When our waiter came to check on us long after we were finished eating, he noticed that neither of us had much of our drinks. When asked if there was an issue, we told him that they didn’t taste very good. He brought over the bartender and he explained that he was sorry, and that he had to follow the recipe. Again, we understood that we wouldn’t enjoy every drink we ordered. It was just disappointing considering the awful service and mostly lackluster food. It would have been different if the waiters were running around with a full house of customers. But the restaurant was near empty and there were plenty of staff available that just didn’t seem to have a sense of urgency or priority. They did strike one of our drinks off the bill, which was appreciated.
Again, I don’t leave bad reviews. I don’t know if it’s the franchise or just this location, being that it was attached to a hotel. But we will not...
Read moreThe food tasted worst. Everything is just leftovers reheated and given to us. The waitress was very rude, no proper flatware was served for a party of 4. While we were still eating they came and cleared all the flatware and plates. They kept waiting for us to leave as it was almost closing time (all this was before 3pm). Over all, the food sucks, the service sucks and the experience was very bad.

Do you think we'd take time to write a negative review about some random business without an actual problem?? The food at your restaurant and the service sucks. That was our experience, even if it hurts your ego, that's the fact.
Coming to the waitress, Ms.Sruthi, she got paid for what she deserved. FYI, servers first serve the food, and depending on their service, an individual leaves a tip to their liking. So very grateful 👏 who'd want to be treated like "Are you done eating yet? Get the hell out of here!" I guess no one.
Are you talking about empty bowls? Seriously? We asked for to go boxes as we didn't wanna waste so much food, and we ended up leaving half of the leftovers on the table, we didn't carry any of your food back with us. It's not worth it.
Coming to your food, taste, quality, and freshness, come on, please look at the recent reviews customers left on your page and your responses to them. If we had seen that before, we wouldn't have visited your restaurant.
I pity you, and the reviews page exists for a reason, to honestly express the customer experiences. Instead of you reflecting and what went wrong, why are the customers upset, and how do you make it right? You have the audacity to be rude and get personal to them.
You don't wanna acknowledge your mistakes publicly? Fine! But you can not be rude, not just only to us but to many more people out there writing negative reviews on your page. That's not acceptable. Don't think people are jobless and leaving reviews. It's that we're genuinely hurt with your attitude and the way you treated us.
We just came to your place for a pleasant dining experience on our holiday to Orlando. You ruined it, and you still are by writing...
Read moreTabla Restaurant in Orlando is one of those places that tests a customer’s patience and leaves them regretting their dining decision. After our experience tonight, it’s safe to say this establishment should be avoided, especially if you’re a tourist seeking a stress-free meal.
We placed an online order, expecting the convenience and reliability advertised. Instead, we endured a staggering 35-minute delay beyond the promised time. Our order was supposed to be ready for pickup by 9:45 pm but it was not ready until 10:20 pm. To make matters worse, the staff not only mishandled the order but also failed to include a key item, zeera rice, without which the entire meal was incomplete. We only discovered this after a 30-minute drive back to our hotel, by which time the restaurant was closed, leaving us with no way to rectify the situation. Imagine having curries but no rice to eat them with—absolutely infuriating and unacceptable.
The final insult came during the pickup. The manager or server had the audacity to dismissively explain that our order was “too big” to be prepared on time. This was not only unprofessional but also a clear admission of the restaurant’s inability to handle its operations. It’s baffling that a restaurant claiming to serve quality food and award winning service lacks even a basic system to ensure timely and complete orders.
If you’re a tourist, think twice before ordering from Tabla Restaurant. Their process is inefficient, their management unresponsive, and their service borderline offensive. A meal here is not worth the frustration, especially when there are countless other options in Orlando that respect their customers’ time and trust. This experience has ensured we will never return—and will actively discourage others...
