Underground Public House — Restaurant in Orlando

I visited Underground last night, Sunday September 19th. It was my girlfriend’s birthday and she knew a couple people who were there watching football, so we decided to stop in. One of her friends came over and asked if he could buy us come shots, we said yes and then this is where the rest off the night got horrible. We ordered 3 shots. The bartender was highly intoxicated. He barely had his eyes open when he looked at us. Fine you drink while you work, just handle your stiff. Nope that did not happen. He then started dancing behind the bar with other people, throwing napkins up in the hair, all while holding on to our bottle of crown apple. I had to ask someone else behind the bar to go ask him if he was going to make our shots. 7 minutes had gone by give or take. He finally came over and wanted to shake everyone’s had. I made a fist and said, “let’s pound it 👊🏻 bc of CoVid.” He immediately got upset and said I had to leave. He came over with a smile on his face and said I had to go. He tried to put his hands on me, and I told him not to touch me. He went and got the door guy, I explained the situation to him. We just got here, we haven’t had any drinks yet, trying to be here for my gfs bday with her friends. Door guy responded, I understand the bartender is drunk, but I have to listen to my staff and kick out who he tells me to. We left, Underground helped start my gfs bday with a horrible taste in our mouths....

I will start positive with this review. Their bloody mary was amazing. The service was great! We had a few drinks and some food during our visit. My friend and I had the brisket and my other friend had the buffalo mac and cheese. I picked off my friends plate and must say the mac and cheese is to die for. It was hot cheesey and just enough spice to balance the dairy. I would highly recommend this dish. I will now move on to the brisket. I was definitely disappointed with this plate. It came out stacked high and looked amazing but when I bit in, the disappointment was extreme. You could tell that the smoke was not authentic and the sauce that was used basically tasted like Aunt Jemima syrup. Not at all impressed. I asked for bbq sauce to try and improve the sandwich but that was an epic fail. The onion rings that the sandwich was delicious but the rest of the sandwich was not impressive. It came with a side of house tater tots and if paired with sour cream and scallions was to die for. Overall, great experience and definitely would go back and once there, order a different dish or maybe have the buffalo mac and cheese. Again,...

I went into this bar to grab a drink, and the 'manager' kicked me out because he thought I was recording with my phone. He threatened to throw my phone and even tried to grab me before I yelled at him to not touch me. I left, but he followed me outside and continued for about 150 feet away from the bar until I turned around and yelled at him to stop following me, which he finally did.

This was completely unprofessional and reckless behavior. I can honestly say I will never return and will tell as many people as possible not to give them any business. I understand that some people record without permission, but I feel like I was unfairly targeted in...
