Keke's Breakfast Cafe — Restaurant in Ormond Beach

11/05/22 Honestly horrible. I don’t know if all these 5 star reviews are paid for or friends but this place is so overrated and not very enjoyable. As soon as we get seated the people in front of us were complaining to the manager about cold food and how it wasn’t good. Thought “oh no that’s not good” We place our order. Had to wait 45 to an hour for our food.

I got a buffalo chicken salad for close to 12 dollars. Looked like something you wouldn’t pay more than 7 for. Tasted horrible.

Also got a bacon cheese tomato panini which was also horrible. No bacon on it at all. (Not joking) barley any tomato and the cheese was NOT melted. French fries cold. On everyone’s plate.

My grandma ordered French toast home fries and bacon. After waiting the 45 - hour for food. Grandma gets her food with just a piece of toast and an orange slice. Then another 10-15 for the home fries.

I don’t know. I’m no Karen. I’m Katie. But this experience was not IT all all. If you’re in the area looking for food go around the corner of the restaurant to THE OTHER restaurants burnt wood tavern. Much better.

Never mind the restaurant was empty and the food took so long. Waitress asked how the food was and we told her “you know is definitely not your fault but it’s not very good at all” Completely blows us off telling us she’ll get the manager and then continues to ask if we need refills. Manager never showed up until we were walking out the door just STANDING THERE STARING AT US. Didn’t say a single word. He was probably over getting so many complaints in one day.

Horrible place kikis do not recommend.

Went for breakfast this morning and was very impressed with the restaurant it self. Very nice layout, big comfy booths and the place was very clean!!! Waitstaff was great, very well dressed in a jeans and logo shirts, all matching which makes for a professional appearance. Our server Mareka was fabulous, she was very attentive and clearly seasoned at her job. The food is the reason I only gave 3 stars. The menu lacks corn beef hash, grits, biscuits and gravy just to name a few things that you would find in a breakfast place based in FL. The pancakes are amazing!!! They are huge and delicious . They do have iced coffee which Most places don’t and it’s real brewed coffee. Sadly the scrambled eggs were a mess, soaked in greasy grill oil and overcooked. Our server was very quick to notice I was not eating them and also noticed that they were over cooked and asked me if she could have them remade which she did but unfortunately they still came out greasy but the cook on the egg was better. Every effort was made to get my eggs the way they should be but after eating that giant pancake I couldn’t even think about the eggs. Overall I find Kekes to be very good and I will be back. Hopefully they will be using less grill oil on the eggs and cooking them to a nice fluffy...

Came to keke’s for breakfast and I was excited! My boyfriend and I are from out of town and Keke’s is our favorite breakfast spot. Normally we stay in the Orlando or Sanford area but visiting a friend around here and had to make a stop here.

Walking in the hostess was great sat us down quick and we waited for our waiter. Definitely wish we got sat somewhere else because it went down hill with her! She didn’t introduce herself, she took our order, someone else dropped the food off(they were pleasant), she never asked if everything came out ok or came back and asked if we needed anything else, But yet dropped the receipt off without a word. A manger came over and asked us how is everything. We expressed our feelings and he apologized and said he would speak with her. Not sure if he did but after we finished our meal we cleaned up our table as we always do anywhere we go. She actually comes back to the table to grab the plates and says “oh they can clean up after themselves” and at this point I was ready to leave no tip and leave. It honestly disrespectful and rude!!!! I planed on stopping by one more time before we head back home but that won’t be happening. It’s honestly terrible because the food is great but how I’m treated and the respect is more...
