I literally wondered if I was still at home dreaming in bed. That’s how heavenly Rodney’s is. Seriously, this is no joke, That’s exactly what I caught myself thinking as my mouth raced to complete the pleasurable process of deciphering the deliciousness of my strawberry waffle. To be frank Rodney’s Waffle stands in the righteous spotlight of superiority casting a shadow of unworthiness on all other wound be “W-awfuls”. Rodney’s is one of those quintessential cafes that you reference as an archetypal model in your mind’s eye when you envision going out to eat. It’s the type of place that you find your self rambling on about to strangers as you swap stories about some of the great grub spots you’ve stumbled on over the years. Cafe’s of this caliber are a rare breed. It truly is a tiny treasure tucked away on a non conspicuous residential side street. Hidden like a pearl hidden in a in auspicious oyster, it waits as a just reward for those that quest for quality dining experiences. The genuineness of it’s warm, welcoming, humble, and familiar atmosphere takes on is amplified in an alchemical reaction as your taste buds savor the home cooked realness of the food. It took us four months to discover this place, and now all the other bland, hum-drum, un inspired, greasy attempts at breakfast were worth it. Love his food, personality is great, fun playing Bingo, but should have more prizes so everyone has a chance to win at least one prize.Or play so everyone gets a descent prize don't care where you have to win (2) bingos.Otherwise, it doesn't pay to bring a cab out there every Saturday. Some people were taking more than their share of soda.Learn to share with others. Maybe put outsnacks like chips and dip on tables, sausage, cheese, and crackers, fruit for each table. Chef salads would be great to have,sub sandwiches different kinds,pickles when you have burgers. Have appitizers, string cheese, herring.Just giving some of my suggestions. Rodney's Cafe is a great place to stop for a bite. The food is excellent and the service is great.

Rodney has a southern flare in his cooking style, featuring notes from the Carolina and Tennessee areas. Give him a chance and he will give you suggestions on what to eat.

Take a few minutes to read Rodney's Mission statement on the wall. Yes it is a long Mission statement but worth the read.
