My fiancé and I like to go to this location whenever there's a celebration or whenever we're in the mood to eat really good food. We're frequent customers 1) because of the convent location & 2) the customer service was always exceptional & 3) prior to this incident, the food was good! My boyfriend and I went to this Olive Garden to celebrate my 21st birthday. As soon as we arrived the lady hosting did not greet us and was putting her jacket indicating her shift was over and she was going home. She did not tell anyone we were waiting to be seated. The young lady left and an employee walking by had noticed my fiancé and I waiting to be seated. This lady did not apologize for not having a host present or for how long we were waiting. The lady eventually sat us & when our waitress came we made our order which came w either a soup or salad, the waitress did not give us that option, we had to tell her when she came back to add the soup we wanted in our order. I also ordered an alcoholic beverage given that I had just turned 21 I was expecting her to ask me for an ID but she did not. When our food came, our soup was COLD like it had been sitting out but because this was a celebration dinner I did not complain at our POOR service. While I was eating cold soup I noticed in my glass of water there were pieces of paper floating. I grabbed a fork, and stabbed to the bottom of my glass and pulled out an Olive Garden business card under the ice of my glass. I was so disgusted and disappointed at the service I received, my fiancé and I did not eat our meal, we took it to go. After I told the waitress she laughed and offered to get me a new glass. She came back and offered to give me free desert which of course I did not want after I had drank parts of their dirty business card. My fiancé told her to put it in the bag and we'll take a our food to go. Eating at Olive Garden is not cheap. I completely lost my appetite and WASTED so much money. This by far has been the WORST EXPERIENCE and goes to show this location is VERY UNSANITARY. How do you not notice you're serving me a dirty cup??? Whoever is considering eating at this location, please check your cups and your food, make sure your waitress didn't accidentally mistake it for a dirty one. And if you're food is cold, more than likely it's been sitting there and you need to let a manager know. Learn from my experience!!! I took pictures of my water and posted it on Yelp you’re more than welcome to see how...
Read moreMy wife and I ate here tonight. Usually there are usually not too many issues. Tonight we were sat in the corner booth in the bar area. The booth next to us sat a lady with her laptop and papers all over the table. We did not mind this at all, work where you are happy. However, the problem started when it was clear she was a boss and was conducting employee reviews. One by one servers sat across from her, next to us, and discussed their performance and reviewed company standards. My wife and I commented to her that it was weird to be eating in her office during these reviews. The manager stated one of the worst logic comments I've heard in a while, "The computer in my office does not have my spreadsheets so I have to use my laptop.". We were thinking, your laptop is not that big, go back to your office and conduct the business where it should be done or shut down the section for this type of activity. We made a few comments while we were there referencing we were trying to enjoy a peaceful meal, she laughed it off like it was funny. We cut our meal short, taking our food home. I told the manager on the way out how displeased we were with our experience of "dining in her office". I told her plainly that next time she should shut down the section if she does this so others don't have to have the same experience we just had. She looked at me with shock, I told her that we dropped many hints but this was now a...
Read moreEdit: The situation has been dealt with, thankfully. Got my desert and the discount is only applied when he is with me or working. Everything is fine now
Original post: I came here 2 days ago on the 26th, Food was great as usual but unfortunately I was pretty upset after learning that I didnt get the family discount because my brother works there. Not sure if it's because I'm black and my brother is white (we have the same mom and live together) but I was denied the 25% discount because he "wasnt on duty" even though they have given the discount for people before who werent working. I dont blame my waitress but the manager on duty refused. I offered to show my ID and even was willing to show a family picture of us together but it was still a no. I also got denied my birthday desert when it was the night before my birthday....pretty disappointed and I feel bad that my waitress was so scared to piss off the manager. I'm sure she just didnt want any problems but it's sad to see staff so scared of their manager. Hopefully something gets done about this because if this has to do with me not looking like my BLOOD BROTHER then they have another problem on their hands. I think the manager on duty was Lithia or something. Not...
