Chick-fil-A — Restaurant in Oviedo

Inconsistent at best. they regularly mess up my 12 count grilled nuggets, either giving me an 8 count, or forgetting my sauces. As someone who is tracking calories and trying to find joy in healthy food, missing my sauces really throws a wretch in my eating plans and ruins my meal when I get home.

Update: I’m not sure why I keep trying, but it’s mainly out of the convenience on my drive home from work. They continue to be inconsistent especially when compared to the CFA near my work. With the release of the new Pimento Cheese Sandwich, which is really good, this location cannot figure out what is the right amount to put on the sandwich. Some days it’s a nice plentiful scoop like the photos, and many days it is just a measly shmear of the spread. My location by work covers it in honey so you can actually taste it and this location barely puts any on. And when you ask for extra, they just give you honey packets which don’t taste like the honey designed to put on the sandwich (likely the same honey butter for their chicken minis) because they say they “can’t” put anymore on the sandwich. I used to work at CFA and I am very familiar with the limitations, but if there is a sauce being used in the kitchen (honey butter in the AM or standard bun butter) they can and will add extra if you ask. This location does not care about consistent quality or accommodations. I wouldn’t have to ask for extra honey on the sandwich or be frustrated with the lack of pimento if they just actually put the right amount of the ingredients on the sandwich.

I have changed my food stars from 4 to 3 for the inconsistency and service from 3 to 1 due to the lack of desire to accommodate simple things other locations are capable of. Overall rating from 3 to 2.

Luckily for this location, they will keep my business SOLELY to being the easiest place to stop...

Went in on memorial day, we got there about 720 and they closed at 8pm. The cashier informed us of them closing early, cool no worries just gonna eat and go. Well then we sat down waiting on our food, another employee came over to inform us they closed at 8pm today... yeah the cashier told me 3 minutes ago. Then the same employee came back about 12 minutes later when I got my food finally and said "we are closing at 8, but if you'd like to finish your food first that's okay"... then came back at 8 on the dot and informed us they were closed so we needed to finish our food... I had a 30 piece nugget, waited for my food and was trying to eat it. The same employee kept coming back every 2 minutes staring at what I had left to eat every pass he made. Listen, I get you're closing early, I'm not trying to hold you up but I had to wait 15 minutes for my nuggets and would like to eat them while still fresh and not after the 25 minute drive home hints me dining in. This employee was pushy and annoying, so I'm not gonna lie I took my time finishing my food because he wanted to keep coming over to inform us of them closing multiple times and then taking stuff from the table... good food, bad respect for a paying customer. Won't be going back to this location...

Ordered curbside pick up using the app. Drink & bag delivered. Peeked in bag. No fries. Go in a crazy busy store and head to counter to wait and ask for fries explaining to an employee who wasn't really understanding. She gives me fries to make me go away. I go back to my car and really look in the bag. The sandwich and hash browns were labeled "Mike" but the bag had my label order on it so I go back in as I did not order either item Mike did. I wait again to tell someone who seemed appalled when I pointed out the name labels. They took my bag back, moved Mike's stuff to a new bag and handed it to Mike. I apologized to Mike who had been standing waiting near where I was. I'm sure his food was cold by now. They then said they needed to make me a new order. I asked if I could go back to my car as I never intended to come inside. (It is my deceased daughter's 18th birthday and I did not want to be in public yet I had to come inside where it was crowded twice.) So he eventually brings my order out - no condiments as ordered via the app. So I wait until he goes back by my car to ask for some and wait again for him to bring them.
