This team should be a case study for how to handle customer service. I placed a custom order that got dropped. Unfortunate, but life happens. As I stood pondering what I was going to do, the team at the donut shop rallied - offering several ways to make it right (all of which would have worked). And then, the Captain came out and offered to deliver the original order to my work several miles away in time for my early morning meeting! I was floored. He delivered them in plenty of time and is now my hero and might as well have been wearing a cape. The team demonstrated, in front of their young and impressionable workers, how to handle customer service, and I am still beyond impressed. Thank you all...for the donuts...for making it right...but perhaps more for demonstrating such dedication and integrity to doing the right thing. The donuts were a hit and you can bet...
Read moreDon’t expect them to stay open 2 seconds past 11:30am. They close at 10:59.59am. They won’t stay open to serve a customer once the clock strikes 11:30. It’s their choice, I have just decided to stop coming to this location because they make so much money that they don’t need my business. I would much rather give it to a small mom and pop’s business that is willing to go the extra mile and wants my money and business. Congrats to the success of the rich owners of this store.
I would like to go back and amend part of the review. We tried this store 2 days later and I will say the staff was very pleasant and incredibly nice. It was frustrating on the earlier trip that they closed earlier. I upped the stars from 3 to 4 because yes the donuts are good and when served they did a great job, well...
Read moreWe've been going to this location every Saturday at the same time for years. I don't know if they have a new owner or what, but they are going downhill fast. The apple fritters used to be huge, thin and crispy. Now they're less than half the size and no longer thin and crispy. Completely ruins the taste and texture everyone loved. The fried cinnamon rolls used to be huge, rolled thick and fried so that the outside was crispy and the inside was light and fluffy. Now they're rolled thin, about half the size, very dense, and look like something you get at a gas station with not much flavor. The donut holes used to be huge, warm, melt in your mouth awesomeness. The last 5 times we've gone there, they're half the size, cold and dense. If I wanted lousy, dense, tiny, tasteless donuts, I'd...
