Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers — Restaurant in Owasso

My husband and I went tonight for a late dinner after work. We were both pretty hungry and decided Freddy’s would be quick and tasty. We were the only people in the restaurant and ended up waiting a few extra minutes for our food than normal. When I checked the receipt to see how long it had been, it was about 11-12 minutes. Not too bad, but noticeable to us since we were the only ones inside. We aren’t the kind of people to speak up about it though, so we just continued to wait. After receiving our food, a kind worker came up to us and offered us a couple meal vouchers and apologized for our wait. She made sure to let us know that we could approach her with any concerns or needs. It was very nice of her! When we were finished eating, I was just about to go up to get my ice cream (that I had ordered with our meals) when the lady came back to our table holding two vanilla custards. She offered them to us for free, and when I told her that I was just about to get my ice cream that I ordered, she asked for my order number and immediately went to fetch the ice cream for me! She was awesome! My husband really enjoyed his vanilla custard too. I wish I would have gotten her name, but still had to share the amazing customer service she displayed tonight! We will definitely be back to...

Very slow drive thru, more than 15 mins to window. Employee didnt know what a 'float' is?! Other Freddys great, this location poor. EDIT 6/15/21: did survey as requested. "VERY slow drive thru, more than 15 minutes from arrival at order menu to driving off without order due to excessive time. Ordered a small pepsi float. Went to Freddys at 81st/Olympia tulsa and got one last week. Employee at Owasso did not know what a float was. He took my order wrong and had a small dr pepper on order screen. I said to the order box that wasn't correct, got no response. Waited 15 mins then drove off without getting anything due to excessive wait time, poor experience and incorrect order anyways. Will be going to. Braums, Andys and Baskin Robbins instead. Regular cone is twice what others charge, even Andy's custard. Not worth my time and money at all. This was our first visit to the Owasso location and we won’t be back.

The service was OK but the food was not tasty and not fresh - at 6:00pm on a seemingly busy weeknight.

SERVICE: Our order was not correct. I ordered a hot caramel concrete and received hot fudge. Not a big deal, but perplexing considering the receipt was correct. We moved through the line at a good pace and the employees were friendly.

FOOD QUALITY: Surprisingly poor. My veggie burger tasted burnt (I’ve had this in other locations and it was great - not so at this location, I threw it out), the cookie dough in our cookie dough concrete tasted like plastic (or perhaps freezer burnt), and our fries were cold. My incorrect concrete tasted good, though.

Overall, the flavor and freshness wasn’t there, and for the price, I wouldn’t expect such glaring issues with the food. Pretty disappointed in this visit; I’ve had Freddy’s in other locations and they didn’t have these...
