Ron's Hamburgers & Chili — Restaurant in Owasso

Firstly this pandemic is not over and it is still a major concern in people's lives. So my hope is Ron's management sees this and hopefully make some much needed changes. Most (if not all)of these complaints are in regards to Covid-19 safety precautions.

Bar seating still open, customers and staff still eating at the bar instead of Social distancing away from where customers pay, not social distancing through assigned tables, menus and condiments left on table and not sanitized in between customers, rags used for cleaning seem to be just wet rags wiped over a table once or twice then placed back on a counter instead of a cleaning solution bucket.

I've working in a busy restaurant setting, much busier then when I ate at Ron's, theres no excuse for the lax cleaning and sanitizing procedure with as much free time as I saw the staff wasting. Will not be returning as long as there is a pandemic, not until they take customer safety more seriously. Food otherwise delicious. Would prefer to order for pickup but even that makes me nervous knowing the minimum effort to keep things safe and sanitary inside.

The menu prices are higher than Jenks Ron's Hamburgers. Twice as much $ for tots for the same amount. My friend wanted fried mushrooms, but they do not have those (the one in Jenks does.) The BLT was not the best. I had already ordered and then i asked if they put a good portion of bacon on it.... like more than 2 pieces like in Jenks. It was then that he said they use bacon bits, not strips. They forgot my tomatos. Because it was bacon pieces/bits it did get messy.... which is hard because my friend cannot walk much so we ate in the car. Thankfully i had paper towels in there because we only got one flimsy napkin with the plastic wear. The side of mayo was excessive.... need to invest in mayo packets. The tots were good.

Tho the sandwich was not horrible, it was just not what you expect a bacon sandwich to be. It would been better with strips of bacon.

Also if you are not familiar with the area you can miss it (we did). Their door is super heavy too. They did have more workers tho...

Felt so rushed to order immediately and just get out of the way during dinner here... and the place wasn't busy. Also, I'm a long time (30 years?) Ron's fan since the original location in midtown, and the burger quality is lacking (at least for this location) lately. I cannot put my finger on it, but the quality of the meat, or how it's being prepared, was not up to expectations. Spanish fries were great, and chili was fine (never been a huge chili fan, but it was normal experience). Generally not thrilled with the service here nor the cleanliness of the place. Somehow it seems the most popular restaurants think it's okay to let the place go, and I've never understood that... from the bathrooms (cleanliness and functionality) to the unbalanced air vents blowing the napkins off some tables... so easy to be ahead of that stuff and an inexpensive opportunity to keep up the customer experience. Shouldn't be neglected...
