I ordered 2 route 44 sweet teas and sat 40 minutes before I got it. It didn’t bother me much until I went home and realized it was unsweetened tea. So I drove all the way back and sat for another 30 minutes for 2 route 44 sweet teas. So i sat an hour and a half for 2 sweet teas. I feel like I definitely deserved a refund. Update: I got 2 more teas and before I left tasted them and they were also unsweet. I got here at 8:30 and it’s almost 10:30 when they close. I have never sat so long anywhere before. I just wanted my sweet tea :( I was informed the new employees aren’t familiar with the difference between the unsweetened and sweet tea machines. This was a very stressful situation for me and I hope the next time I come it’s different. I literally almost ran out of gas sitting here. I had no idea it would be for almost 2 hours. I finally asked to speak to the manager and explained my situation and he was so kind and polite and helpful. I feel absolutely terrible complaining about my experience, but the manager was finally able to give me my sweet tea after the third set of sweeties I received.
