Oxford had both ends in spades before The Lyric opened but now ranges the full spectrum of music/event venue. Yes, vaccinated people are getting Covid infections. Does the Lyric care? Nope. They listen to local alderman to guide their "science" over the CDC Director. The Lyric is perfectly fine with the vaccinated spreading Covid in their jam packed building when a simple solution is to require all who enter to show a negative Covid test before entry - that is IF the goal is truly to prevent Covid. As a wedding reception venue, The Lyric offers everything you would need in a downtown setting.
