GOM Snow Desserts — Restaurant in Oxnard

I was a bit disappointed, as I was expecting an experience similar to SomiSomi. First, the absence of matcha on the menu was a letdown—definitely a missed opportunity (-1 star).

The fish-shaped pastry was outstanding with great flavor, but I was disappointed with the filling. Unlike SomiSomi, which thoroughly coats the inside of the fish with the filling, here it felt like there was just a small dollop of Nutella. For $8.50, I expected more generous portions (-1 star).

On the bright side, the ice cream was flavorful, and the toppings were excellent. While soft serve instead of regular ice cream would have been a nice touch, it was still enjoyable overall.

It was a pleasant experience, and I hope this constructive criticism helps enhance the offerings. It would be great to have a top-tier dessert spot locally, saving those of us in the Ventura/Oxnard area a drive to LA whenever we’re craving...

My friend brought me here and treated me to the most amazing treat called Bingsu. It’s a Korean shaved ice topped with your choice of mango, strawberry, strawberry cheesecake, taro, horchata, matcha, Oreo or taro. We chose strawberries, and they didn’t skimp on the berries as you can see if my photos. It felt like I was eating a light cake, but it was shaved ice. The condensed milk is the perfect topping for this dessert. It wasn’t too sweet either. I think they put red beans or paste in this as well, but not sure. Sounds strange, but it’s a Korean thing. They also offer soft serve fish cones here (taiyaki). Overall, a great place to check out if you’re craving something...

I was really excited for this place as the food served are some of my favorite. The ube soft serve and the bingsus were amazing and one of my favorite that i’ve had, better than the one I had in K town too. Both mango and strawberry cheesecake were perfect as it had the perfect sweetness. The prices are to be expected as the food is high in quality with great service. The employee Sam, was very kind and helpful with suggestions when we weren’t sure of what to get and made sure the food came to us. Not only her but all the staff were kind too. The food came quickly as well with it being presented perfectly and overall was a great experience. One of the best dessert shops...
