It's very nice to see that there's a nice local cafe in Oxnard that you would like to support. On the other hand I was quite disappointed with the service after coming two different days in a row. The girl at the register looked very unbothered and unwelcoming when we tried putting an order through. No smile and literally no acknowledgement either to myself, sister and her fiancé. When we got the orders they call your name and literally walk to the back and disappear. We spent nearly $30 the first day. The 2nd day we came back we decided to use the machine to place the order to avoid the same unwelcoming girl. As I was trying to workout the machine and transfer money from my British bank account I could hear rude comments from the baristas about how incompetent I am (the unwelcoming girl). We also paid around $25 the 2nd day. We said a friendly good bye when we left, but there was no acknowledgement from either of the baristas. It's sad because I grew up in Oxnard and I haven't been home in 2 years for Christmas. So I was so excited to try out this new place. I currently live in London- which is known for bad service. With that said, working in the hospitality industry (airline, Trainline, hotels and restaurants)for more than 20 years I find that it doesn't cost anything for eye contact or a friendly smile. I was really excited for this to open up in our complex. Atmosphere is super cute. But, I probably won’t go back.

There’s two self serve POS systems and no one personally takes your order, so you might as well just order online so you don’t have to wait in line. You order for yourself and someone sets it on the counter.

Got the breakfast croissant and two different coffees. I don’t recommend the food, the egg is totally premade and not fresh. I tried to remove bacon but was still charged the same price, even though bacon is an extra charge and substituting meat is an extra charge. The system says half and half is a $1 extra charge, but yet they have half and half on the table behind you. There’s no room to personalize your order on the system without being charged a bunch extra. One of the coffees was good, the other okay. Overall, experience...

not only is this place's coffee and food terrible, but their Doordash system is horrible. ordered here twice already right when they opened for a later lunch and they cancelled it RIGHT BEFORE it was set to be made. have done this not once but TWICE. when i asked they said it was because they didn't do their matcha drinks anymore.

yet, when I went in person, i discovered they DID do matcha! for some reason they took it off their doordash app ONLY AFTER i complained TWICE for them cancelling my order 20 minutes before it was supposed to be done. they had 4+ hours to cancel it and chose then.

i got tired and decided to try them in person for the benefit of the doubt -- DO NOT GO HERE. they are RUDE, ignore you (which i usually like), and take FOREVER to give you a watered down "coffee" that has 90% sugar in it. i'd rather go to shitty...
