It's Boba Time - Oxnard — Restaurant in Oxnard

I really wanted to like this place. Other chains are great and oxnard was in desperate need of a good boba place. However, after being opened for a week there are some suggestions for the owner. Most other boba places will do a soft opening on the first day or two or as long as it takes to train your staff. Offer 50% off drinks just so your staff can get the hang of making the drinks. Your customers then wont complain if their drinks take 42 minutes. Yes you saw that correctly 42 minutes. I heard it took a while and saw all the people waiting so i decided to time it. If people are waiting for more than 20 mins and you just opened and you see people outside looking a little frustrated. Offer coupons for their next boba free or 50% off. If you want them to come back. The one star is for the boba if they dont run out which bobatime did. No boba just lots of time waiting. Lol. No star for costumer service (i felt pretty bad for the one girl taking orders who had no clue what was going on inside). No star for seating because there isn’t any its just a window. No star for bathroom, no seating means no bathroom. Its in an outdoor mall so there are restrooms else where. And lastly no star for being exceptional. If you are looking for good boba then drive here but expect the wait until the staff and the owner figures out what they are doing. But if you had an hour and wanted boba you will probably get it faster driving to another city. Im sure things will get...

Normally I love this place; other than from myself, it's the only place I kno of where yu can get a thai tea smoothie/milkshake. But today I got kind of terrible food poisoning (I think possibly the milk or something was a little bad- not enuf that I tasted it, but my body sure did) I was extremely sick for over an hour after I finished drinking it, it was terrible. I tried to call a few times today after that to let them kno, so no one else would get sick, I didn't get thru for a long time finally around mAybe 4 or 5pm someone answered; they said they would pass it along the chain of command, who would take care of it promptly but I still never received a call bak about it to let them kno exactly what is ordered and when to figure out what was bad. Anyway, I love this place, these kind of things happen from time to time, but if yu read this and the same thing hAppened to yu, pls do something about it so no one else has to deal with this!...

If I could give zero stars I would. These kids don’t make the drinks the way ordered but the way they want to. This is the third time in a week that I have had to ask for extra “drizzle” brown sugar for the tiger milk drink because they gave me straight milk with boba. I literally asked for extra and for sure they didn’t give extra they just drizzled the cup. They do the same with the Thai Tea. If you order the Thai Tea, it may not have Thai Tea flavor and just just be pure milk. If you order after 8pm there won’t be any boba left. They gave me my drink after they gave all the other people who ordered after me their drink. I am starting to think that these little kids here are racist plus many are rude. The hate is real.
