If you're looking for a relaxed spot with delicious pizza and comforting Italian food, Fiorella is the place to be. Whether you're coming in for a casual lunch or a cozy dinner, this restaurant offers a warm, inviting atmosphere that’s perfect for any occasion. The vibe here isn’t too fancy, but it’s certainly a great spot to unwind, enjoy great food, and relax. The pizza at Fiorella is something you won't soon forget. One reviewer raved about their 16" pizza, which was so big, it lasted for days—proof that the portions are generous and satisfying. The crust strikes a perfect balance between soft and crunchy, while the cheese is deliciously gooey. The pepperoni is particularly loved, with crispy edges and a smoky, meaty flavor that makes every bite a treat. And with the option for a veggie pizza topped with fresh ingredients like goat cheese, arugula, and balsamic vinegar, there’s something for every palate. But Fiorella isn’t just about pizza. Guests rave about the other menu items too! From hearty spaghetti and meatballs to mouthwatering garlic bread, it’s clear that this restaurant knows how to serve up Italian classics. One visitor even enjoyed the spinach and crab dip—though, as a Maryland newbie, they didn’t think much of the crab, the dip itself was still a hit. And if you're in the mood for wings, the hot honey wings come highly recommended—they’re perfectly balanced with just the right amount of spice. Although the service has been hit or miss in some reviews, many guests report a welcoming staff that’s attentive and friendly. One review mentioned a server who went above and beyond, making sure everything was perfect. So, while there might be the occasional hiccup, the overall experience seems to shine through. Looking for dessert? You won’t be disappointed. Just make sure to read the menu carefully, especially if you’re eyeing the "Jumbo Cinnamon Buns." There was a slight disappointment when a customer ordered them and found that they were a single bun instead of multiple, but don't let that stop you from indulging in other sweet treats! Note for future diners: The parking situation near the harbor can be tricky and costly, but the food and atmosphere make it well worth the little extra effort. If you're near the harbor and craving comforting, delicious Italian food, Fiorella’s is an excellent choice. Come hungry, come relaxed, and get ready to enjoy some seriously good food.
Things to Know Before You Go Parking: Located at the harbor, parking can be a challenge. Be prepared to spend extra, but the delicious food and harbor views make it worthwhile. Portions: The portions vary by dish. Some, like the pizza and pasta, are generously sized, while others, like the salmon, lean smaller—perfect if you prefer a lighter meal. Desserts: Be warned: the “Jumbo Cinnamon Buns” may only include one bun! Fiorella fans are rallying for change, so keep an eye out for updates!

Read moreMy son and I visited Fiorella's on New Year Eve. We went in around 5pm and we were excited that the restaurant was slow. This was our first time eating at the restaurant so we didn't know what to expect. Let me say that by the end of the $132 experience, I was deeply disappointed. First, I ordered meatballs and garlic flatbread as an appetizer for my son. He is nine, and like most nine year olds, he is obsessed with meatballs. He took a few bits and then stopped eating them. When I asked why he said, "They taste funny." Curious to see what he meant, I tried them. They were Horrible! I don't know if the meatballs are per-made, then frozen, then thawed, but that is what they taste like. Also the texture is a mess (mushy like baby food)! Nothing about the dish was pleasing. Next, I ordered an individual sized pizza for my son. I ordered pepperoni and crispy bacon. The server put in the wrong pizza order, so we had to wait for them to make us the correct pizza. I know mistakes happen, but he didn't come and apologize at all. Also, after we finally got it, the cheese on the pepperoni pizza was so rubbery. My son could barely swallow it! 😑 I ordered the spinach dip as my appetizer and the truffle ravioli as my dinner. I specifically asked my server to put the entree in after I had received my appetizer so that my entree did not get cold while I was enjoying the appetizer. He did NOT do this. So, by the time I got to the ravioli it was ice cold! Also, our server was completely negligent. Though it did start to pick up, there is no excuse for only checking on your table ONE time during a dining experience. I needed black pepper for my entree and by the time he finally came over, I was almost completely done! Lastly, after receiving and reviewing the bill, I noticed that my server added 18% gratuity to the check. When I asked him about it he said that it is done to all checks over $100. What?!? If the food and the service my son and I received were good, then I would have tipped him a considerable amount more than that. However, given the overall subpar experience (food and service), I wanted to tip less. 😑 I will never go to this restaurant again and I don't...

Fiorella, located right by the National Harbor in Maryland, is a real hidden gem that serves up some seriously delicious Italian food. I recently dined there, and it was nothing short of fantastic. I can't wait to tell you all about it!
As soon as I walked in, I was taken in by the cozy and rustic décor. They've got these lovely patio tables facing the Potomac River that just make the whole experience even better.
Now, let's talk about the service. It was top-notch. The staff was not only friendly but also knew their stuff when it came to the menu. They gave us some great recommendations and made us feel like VIPs during our visit. You could tell they genuinely cared about making our dining experience special.
For starters, we tried the stuffed mozzarella balls in marinara sauce, and it was a winner. The mozzarella was creamy, the tomatoes were juicy, and the basil added a nice kick. We also couldn't resist the crispy and delicious calamari, which was a delightful surprise.
Fiorella's pasta dishes were a hit with us. The lasagna was creamy and packed with flavor, especially those meatballs. And their seafood mac and cheese with shrimp and crab? Absolutely divine. The creamy mac and cheese was comfort food at its best.
And when it came to dessert, we made sure to save some room. The cheesecake was out of this world, striking the perfect balance between sweet and salty. Each bite was a burst of flavor that left us wanting more.
Fiorella is a real gem, a place that truly honors Italian traditions with incredible food and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're on a romantic date, celebrating a special occasion, or just craving some authentic Italian cuisine, Fiorella is the place to be.
