Our family of five had breakfast here after staying the night in the area. We just left this Bob Evans loc. and plan never to return. We entered thru the takeout doors closest to our vehicle, just beside the main entrance and the check-in desk, we were totally igorned while the manager seated others.
As I was finally being seated by a nice waitress, I noticed sticky spots on the table at my seat, she brought a wet towel and made a quick wipe which did nothing to clean it. I had to ask our waitress again and she finally scrubbed it off. There were also crumbs around the table and it had a sticky residue all over it, which we dealt with.
When our waitress finally brought our food after a very long wait, she reached across the large round table to place food in front of our daughter instead of walking around to her side and accidentally dumped 2 overeasy eggs and sausage all my husbands arm and pants leg. She apologized and brought just a couple more napkins after being asked. She proceeded to place the rest of the food she had with her, still handing it across the table, and then went back for more. After bringing the rest she left and didnât return.
We were left with no knapkins or flatware to eat with and no coffee or other refills. My husband had to go to the front counter and ask for everything else we wanted including our check, along with a manager. Our waitress finally brought and slid the check onto the table without saying a word and with a huge bad attitude.
When the manager, Jasmine, finally came, my husband tried to explain what happened and instead of listening to all that transpired she also copped an attitude and just repeatedly said Chyanne didnât mean to drop the food.
Our point was not that, we know it was an accident. Our point was the lack of taking responsibility for anything except a quick apology and completely ignoring us after the incident. We realized the waitresses attitude was much like the managers, in which most likely lies...

The two of us walked in a little after 5pm on a Saturday behind another couple, there is no line waiting to be seated. The place is about 1/3rd full at best. The first couple gets seated after about 30 seconds by a waitress. We waited almost 5 minutes before anyone addresses us. Plenty of employees looked at us, including the person working the register checking some one out, but not a we'll be right with you until almost 5 minutes... then we were seated.
We get seated and our order is taken fairly quickly... but sides were poorly explained on my wife's sandwich even when she asked and I was never asked how I wanted my eggs. (Though, in fairness, I forgot to say what I wanted) The waitress was good on refilling our drinks while we waited for our meals.
Our food arrives, my wife's sandwich is mushy on the bottom but livable. My biscuit Benedict is a cold mess. No hollandaise, biscuits are rock hard, and there is a very sorry amount of country fries. I ask about the lack of sauce and was told I asked for it on the side (?!?) Either way it's missing. She goes to fetch it... and it's luke warm. Which matches the rest of the plate. After two bites, I say enough and get the manager.
He remakes my plate, and comps both of our meals. Thank you! He asked to substitute the hard biscuits for English muffins (yay!) as the rest of what they had was just as bad. The new Benedict was much better! Hot and tasty. (though my eggs were still wrong)
We used the restrooms on the way out. There mens room needed service as the trash was over full and there were paper towels on the floor. My wife says the ladies was fine.
So, the manager did well in fixing problems once they happened... but there are many problems that need to be addressed here so these problems don't happen in the...
Read moreThe service was atrocious, our entire table felt like an incovience for daring to entering the establishment. Now mind you, we had 4 adults and 6 children, so we over looked this as them just being upset at so many children. The waitress came to take our drink orders, gave us our drinks and disappeared for an hour. We finally got to make our order, and the food did come faster than expected considering the waitress took so long to even bother to come take our order. My plate personally was disgusting. I ordered the grilled chicken breast, buttered broccoli, and honey carrots. The chicken was a crispy piece of black something, the broccoli was cold, and only half the carrots were cooked. My 4 year old ordered the plenty of pancakes plate. All of her pancakes were burnt, every single one. Nobody, and I mean nobody was happy with their food, and one at our table couldn't even finish 1/4 of her plate. She let the staff know, and she did get her food free. We left no tip, and someone at our table left their phone by mistake. He went back to get the phone 15 minutes later, and a brand new iPhone he had just gotten the day before was put in mash potatoes from our table.... they said it was because when they clear the tables they just push everything into a tub without looking, they just slide it all across the table...... I don't personally believe that, but then again, with the poor service I guess they could be capable of doing something like that. The person at our table and the rest of us felt they had done this on purpose to get back at us for not leaving a tip. The new phone sustained water damage, and the staff pretty much acted as if it was no big deal, and offering them discounts and gift cards for damaging an 800...
