Holiday Inn Express & Suites Paducah West by IHG — Hotel in Paducah

We stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Paducah on our way down to Florida and back. The location is great--just off the highway but tucked away from traffic, and many chain restaurants and stores all within 5 minutes drive. The hotel is newer and in great shape. The room was clean and had everything we needed, included a larger than normal mini fridge which was super helpful with our family of 6. I love the blankets and pillows that Holiday Inn has adopted in recent years. One feather pillow and one regular (so it doesn't go too flat) and the blanket feel like a down comforter, but not too heavy. I also appreciated that they offered small toiletry items, like a toothbrush if you happened to forget yours. And last, the staff was great. Jesse especially, had our rooms ready to go before we arrived, was quick and efficient and showed extraordinary patience with another client I personally would have struggled to deal with. :) My only complaint was that getting breakfast was a bit of a slow process, with one staff member gathering our selections, but it's all Covid-19 precautions so understandable. We will definitely stay again, on the way through or to visit...

This hotel was excellent. One of the best IHG properties we have stayed in. I liked the dark, classic decor, very clean from the lobby to the room. Check in was fast. My status was mentioned and the front desk staff was very friendly. The head of housekeeping was very friendly as well, and she impressed us with how proactive she was. I used to be a property manager and so I am over-diligent in inspecting all the hotel rooms for any signs of unwanted critters when we travel. We had the room door open with the cart while my husband gave me a hard time (jokingly) for checking the bed like I do... and the head of housekeeping was in the hall at the time. She peeked in and introduced herself and wanted to be sure we didn't truly have any concerns or anything she could address and remedy for us. We explained it was just a routine I do and he gives me a hard time about when we travel. Needless to say. The room was spotless, with no issues at all. The bed was comfy, hotel was quiet, breakfast was fresh and hot. All of the staff was friendly. Nothing out of order. I would stay here again and definitely recommend this property. Thank...

We have stayed many Holiday Inn Express over the last 20+ years all over the County. Some are better than others. The Paducah Holiday Inn Express is not new, but it has been very well maintained. This hotel and the room were very clean, the beds were comfortable and

furnishings were well maintained. Bathrooms were clean, the towels were great and shower was very good. The front desk people were friendly and ready to help you with anything you would need. The breakfast and dining area was really clean and the staff manning it check on you seeing if you need anything. The food was the same as in all Holiday Inn Express, but you could tell staff really cared enough make sure food was hot and pans where full It was a very good breakfast. Yes, it’s older but very clean, good beds and friendly helpful staff everything you need while on the road, we’ll give it 5 stars. You could tell this operator runs their hotel with pride to give you their best for your dollar. The way very few operate today!!
