So let's begin with the food. The pizza were fairly good. The macaroni cheese pizza was one of the finest that I've tried, the sweet chili was rather good. The taco pizza however was subpar and the chips tasted as though they had been a month stale. The chicken was rather good for buffet fried chicken, the fries were alright the homemade Cajun chips however were incredible! The salad bar had a decent variety not quite as much to offer as Pizza Inn but acceptable. They even had their signature strawberry, and pecan salad on the bar too. Overall its worthy of a 3.5 to 4 stars on food. Service everyone that I spoke to was friendly. They do have a spot where you can order pizzas for the bar and they give you a vibrating coaster to get first dibs once it comes out. So, I find that very nice. I've been to other pizza buffets where on a busy night you may order something and be in the middle of a plate and once you get up there find that the very pizza you ordered is already been devoured so very nice. They also include drinks in the price so no separate fee for that and you have a couple fountains to get drinks from.
Atmosphere simple nice esthetic with a few TVs on the wall watching the play room so parents can chat and watch their children from afar. LOUD is my biggest complaint if your someone sensitive to noise levels maybe skip this until the new hype dies down a bit or until school is in. Also the the buffet line can get a bit congested and confusing. . .
Overall I give the place four stars. They have a decent variety, they have friendly staff, but the noise levels even with a wall between the dining room and play room is a...
Read moreFirst impression as you walk up to the counter... they ask for a tip upfront without any knowledge of how they will serve you. I have never nor will I ever give a tip before services are rendered.
Service impression, they escort you to a table and other than pick up used plates your service is over.
Food impression, it wasn't the worst nor the best pizza in town. To be fair the other pizza place that offers a pizza bar isn't the best or worst either. The competition does offer more than 6 pizzas at a time and more variety. Their competition also has a one direction line that is needed in this establishment. Not only does is stop people from just stepping in front of you but helps control the kids racing about.
Atmosphere, not conducive for people in wheelchairs. My powerchair is a smaller footprint in width than my wheelchair and I struggled with navigating the food bar and lack of line control... absence of line control.
This was my first time eating here. I'm sure I will try it again in a few months to see if anything improves. First impression is that I like the...
Read moreWhat a disappointment. It's a brand new place and it was dirty and the service was nonexistent. They charge you at the door (about 30% higher than the other pizza buffet in town) then they ignore you. No one shows you the seating area, or explains where to get plates silverware or drinks. There is food all over the floor, and there about 8 to 12 employees hanging around the walk in area (see pics). There are about 8 pizzas at the buffet, about a third as much as their competitor. The salad bar is small, but it has what it needs. Unfortunately the dressings are not maintained, unlabeled, covered in slime, disgusting (see pictures). To be fair, they have a fried chicken bar with corn, green beans, and mashed potatoes with gravy. That's a bright point. Lastly you know that server that comes around to collect your empty plates? They...
