Started out very positive showing up at 730 for a 745 reservation but we are seated immediately, thankfully as small bar area was full. Now the noise hits us, so loud, hard to hear waitress and ourselves talk, just conversation noise. We are slow to order wine but it does come before our apps. We enjoy the steak egg rolls appetizer and a nicely dressed wedge with nice blue cheese and bacon. Meals come very quickly, appetizer plates picked up and meals brought at the same time. Chicken schnitzel not to our liking, very dry, needs salt, too much radish and raw onion. Swordfish, Waitress said it was $34 market price, actually $44 on the bill. It is good, a little under sauced and a little grainy. The grilled Branzino is nice but a bit over charred and a bit too much olive oil swimming on the plate. Sides of Butternut squash with Truffle Oil & Goat Cheese and Smashed Potatoes quite good. Now the bill, two couples we split the bill equally with 2 cards, $269.64 or $134.82 each. Our cards are charged at $157.82 each. Takes a while to flag down server , she knows nothing, finds the manager who hears of Steve’s dis-pleasure with schnitzel and re runs bill taking schnitzel off and correcting the split, very pleasant and apologetic. Fair food, noisy room, not a well-paced meal, equals one and...
Read moreI arrived here on a warm summer night, not knowing what to expect. As I walked inside, I was greet by a fresh breeze of perfectly chilled air and the beautiful voice of Bella, welcoming me to sit wherever I choose. After carefully surveying the room, I chose to sit at there bar, where I was promptly greeted by Alex and Alyse. Within moments, the beautiful Alex had an ice cold dirty martini moistening my lips. The ratio was perfect. The chill factor, un-matchable. And the shake Alex gave the martini, absolutely demur. It was at this point, I knew I was going to call kitchen my second home., but what I didn’t know was just how good their food is. With Alex tending to her regular customers, Alyse quickly took the reigns after I reviewed the menu, stepping in with perfectly timed service. Although the menu looked phenomenal, Alyse’s knowledge of the daily specials had me sold, and I couldn’t say no to the crabcakes. Again, just like the martini, the moment they hit my lips, my legs went limp, my body entered a euphoric state, and I just knew, Kitchin is “Bitchen”. The best of the best. I’d continue to review, but my oversized coconut cake just arrived, and I think it’s time to enter heaven tonight...
Read moreDisappointed that my gift certificate to Kitchen was not honored a Palm Beach Gardens location. Waitress said my gift certificate was for the West Palm Beach location although there was not indication that gift card was just for the WPB location other than small WPB address on back of gift card presentation (gift card glued to folded paper card with Kitchen logo on outside). I did notice that it had the WPB address on the back of the greeting card, for lack of better description, but since website had both locations I just assumed card was good to either location. I wouldn't have gone to Palm Beach Gardens location if I thought card would not be honored. I think card should be honored at either location or something stating on card that gift card only valid at one location. Food was pretty good but my wife's salmon was undercooked and she didn't want to send it back to the kitchen, so if you order salmon make sure they cook it well unless you...
