Extinction Level Event for Palm Beach Grill.
We gave Henry’s a try for the first time this weekend. Wow! Where to begin? If you are a tourist you are probably considering your choices for dining. In the past there were a few spots that were on the “must do” list for dining; Taboo; Cafe L’Europe, and the Palm Beach Grill. You can now eliminate The Grill from that list. Henry’s has a far better and far more exciting menu. Unlike The Grill, whose portions have become smaller as the prices have become higher, Henry’s won’t see you going home hungry.
One BIG difference is management! For the past two years the management at The Grill has killed the vibe. Long time staff have left and the place is now cold, uninviting, and unfriendly. In the old days it was like going to Burger King. If you wanted something special or a change made to the menu they would be happy to comply. Under management for the past two years you will get the McDonald’s treatment. Eat is like we serve it or go elsewhere. Unfortunately it is no longer a Cheers Pub type of environment.
As an example, due to typical new restaurant snafus, our meals were late coming from the kitchen. The young, Russian manager (he gave me a card but I don’t have it as I write this review) came to our table and apologized profusely. He gave us free drinks. He came back after the food was delivered and asked for comments. This young man actually CARED about our business. You won’t find anybody at The Grill these days who will give you the time of day.
As for the food itself...it was unbelievable. The three of us declared it to be “As good as it gets”. We ordered the chicken pot pie (the crust itself was a true work of art), the filet mignon French Dip (to DIE for and 1000 X better than the one at The Grill), and the salmon (declared by the person consuming as the best salmon ever eaten). Oh...and we started with the onion rings. A decadent treat that should not be missed if you like O rings!
So in a final analysis, give Henry’s your money. And if anybody from The Grill reads this you might as well begin planning your own funeral. This place is going to put the Big Hurt on...

I walked into Henry’s Palm Beach as a mere mortal with frizzy hair and existential dread. I left feeling like my name should be Contessa Von Shrimp Cocktail III. 👑🍤💅
Let me explain.
It all started when I accidentally made eye contact with the hostess and she smiled at me like I had a trust fund and a summer house in Nantucket. I felt SEEN. I felt rich. I briefly forgot I drove a 2009 Toyota Corolla held together by zip ties and prayer. 🙃🚗💨
The breadbasket arrived... ...and I gasped audibly. One of the rolls looked so fluffy I considered cradling it like a newborn. I named it “Brady.” RIP Brady. You were devoured with butter and love. 🥖💔
Appetizer? Lobster bisque. My taste buds stood up and applauded. One actually wept.
Main course? Chicken Milanese — so perfectly crisp I started making up a backstory for it. I imagined it trained in a remote Tuscan dojo under a wise old chef who taught it the ancient art of FLAVOR. 🥋🐔🔥
The vibe? Sophisticated, yet not soul-crushing. Palm Beach posh, but not “we only speak in golf metaphors.” The music was classy. The lighting was flattering. Even my forehead looked naturally filtered. 🤳✨
Our server (his name was Julian but I now call him “Sir Flavor Whisperer”) knew the menu better than I know my own credit card limit. He described each dish like it was his child graduating with honors from culinary school. 👨🎓🍽️💯
Final Verdict: 10/10. Five stars. A Michelin vibe in a Lilly Pulitzer zip code. 💚🌸💙
I came in stressed. I left with a to-go bag, a rejuvenated soul, and a mysterious craving to invest in rare wine and start playing tennis at 7 a.m. on Wednesdays.
Will I return? Yes. Will I overdress? Also yes. Will I pretend I’m the long-lost cousin of Henry himself? You bet your perfectly poached egg...
