Metro Diner — Restaurant in Palm Harbor

I have NEVER been to a restaurant this perfect. These waiters & waitresses can seriously multi-task. I've never had a worker open a door for me to a restaurant until I came here. I highly respect how open the kitchen is to see. The owner has been here every single time I've come to greet my family. The portion sizes are incredible. The taste of the food & drinks is unmatchable. My favorite thing about Metro is the respect amongst the workers. I've had workers from other tables come take food, or ask how everything tasted. I know it's opening week, but this restaurant better never change! There's always room for improvement but I believe they've mastered the art. The only critique is I believe there should be a second floor honestly because this place is already a hit! I never see one worker just standing around doing nothing, they are always working & moving. I am very grateful to live 5 minutes away. Since apparently I was the first customer to order their Chicken and Waffles at their grand opening today, I feel obligated to leave a review. I’ve been to a few Metro Diners before and this one didn’t disappoint at all. Great service, bottomless coffee and the food was great as well. As I said I got the chicken and waffles since it’s my favorite of the locations, fantastic as always. Fluffy waffles and half a chicken (not tenders) leg, thigh, wing, breast all there fried to perfection. I also got their cheesy grits , so tasty! There was cheese on the bottom of the dish!!! Mary was our server party of 3 - The pot pie is massive and leftovers taken home . I had steak tips with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese . Craving comfort food and it did not disappoint.
