Shogun Japanese Restaurant — Restaurant in Palm Harbor

This place has all you can eat sushi rolls, but if you are going to do that deal, you need to ask for that particular menu. The all you can eat menu is just a piece of paper and they don't give it to you when you sit down or mention it when you come in. I saw reviews about that deal, and just thought to give my 2 cents from my experience.

On to the rest of the review. I don't remember the names of the rolls but I really liked them. One was raw and had fresh jalapenos in it and the other was deep fried. Also orders the salmon avocado salad...Sooo good. We ordered it because we saw a photo of it online, but I didn't even see it on the menu- we just asked for it.its like having salmon shashimi in a tangy-sweet-vinegar sauce with avocado and cucumbers. Very fresh and refreshing tasting.

Server was nice. We had already ordered the salmon avocado salad when we asked about the all you can eat deal. He brings us the menu. Everyone at the table has to get the deal, so we just got rolls. He tried to talk us out of it it seemed. That was weird.

This place looked new and had a nice atmosphere too. Overall, I could see myself going back. Both of the rolls really surprised me with their flavor.

P.S. They spell crab with a k, so you know it's not crab. I like to know, so I thought...

Good food but service was lacking. Went for all you can eat buffet, took along time to get each serving with long spans of empty plates. Was not all you can eat because they halt our order and did not bring out everything we ordered saying we ordered too much. Party of four (3 adults 1 child) 6 rolls some appetizers. Granted the food was in the good side the experience was not much of a buffet. Aside from service there is very limited selection of dipping sauce aside from soy sauce and Saracha. What we did get a whole lot of was the Shumai dumpling which was small and full of fillers. Couldn't tell if there were shrimp or pork in it. Long story, good food, bad service and you don't get your full buffet order unless you demand it. Asking for the where about of your food multiple times will not guarantee that it will come out in twenty minutes or longer. Ours never came out so we decided to...

Just moved to the area and was looking for a Sushi place for my weekly Friday sushi treat. Ordered from here based on reviews and I couldn't possibly be angrier at everyone who gave this place anything higher than 1 star.

First off we ordered for delivery. Half my order was ignored, no message, no communication, just ignored.

The rolls were loaded with filler that not only covered up what little flavor the small amounts of fish were in each roll, but left everyone feeling bloated and sick.

The 1 piece of Salmon Sashimi that they did give us smelled fishy and had a slimy texture.

I am not a food critic but I do consider myself a sushi expert and eat it atleast once a week. I have had it across the country and around the world and I can say without a doubt this is the worst sushi resturaunt that is out there that doesn't also sell gasoline.
