This review is a bit late due to us being out of the country right after our event.
My husband and I have been working with Mercedeh, the event planner on a food and wine pairing for a family reunion of about 50 people of my husbands family. These reunions occur every 2 - 3 years depending on who steps up to host one at a location of their choice. We stepped up 2 years to host family members from across the country, most of them not having been to Palm Springs before. In more recent reunions we have done a wine tasting or pub crawl. We first met with Mercedeh 2 years ago to discuss the idea of food and wine pairings plus having a Mock-Tail clinic with kid friendly food pairings for the kids while the adults enjoyed wines from around the world.
Mercedeh was great to work with and was very helpful in helping us come up with a concept, food items and wines including the Mock-tails and food for kids that helped us knock this event out of the park. At Mercedeh's suggestion, we added Volta, a performer that helped us with drag bingo along with a couple songs that Volta performed.
As we got closer to the actual event, we also met with Christy who was so helpful in helping us specifically choose wines and food items for the event. There wasn't a clunker of a wine in the bunch and the food was fantastic. PS Air has such a limited amount of kitchen space and the food was fantastic. Christy was fantastic to work with through this part of the planning process.
On the day of the event, family members knew they were attending a wine tasting event but had no idea of the venue. They walked into Bouschet and gathered until everyone was in attendance. All of sudden here comes Volta in her flight attendant out with megaphone in hand to get everyone on board our flight. Family members were in aw as they walked into the aircraft. You could see the amazement in their eyes and hear the comments.
Throughout the 2 1/2 hour event, Christy talked about all the wines and explained the food that each wine was paired with. In between the wines, Volta either played bingo or performed. While all of this is taking place, Mickie dressed as a another crew member, greeted the kids with a beautiful spread and started showing kids from the age of 3 - 16 how to make Mock-Tails. Mickie had such a way with the kids and was fantastic to see his patience and interaction with the young family members.
I could continue to go on with glowing comments on the staff, venue, wine, food, Mock-tails and entertainment but will spare you should you continue to be reading this far. We can't thank and say enough about Dennis and Tommy, owners of Bouschet and PS Air along with Mercedeh, Christy, Mickie, Dan, Alan, Volta and several others whose names escape me at this point for the stellar job they did helping us plan such a successful event.
Here we are basically a month later and we still hear family members talking about this. My husbands 86 year old aunt said to us after they got back home to Kansas, "Never have I ever attended such a fun and unique wine tasting event and likely never will experience one again like this".
Thank you Dennis and Tommy and staff for all that you did to make this event such a...

TLDR: this place is an absolute joke, don't waste your time.
My wife and I came in at 945 on a Saturday. As expected, it was busy but not packed -- we were seated immediately. Then... nothing.
10 rolls around and I get up to go to the bar and ask if we're getting table service. I got a stern "yes we're coming."
1015 rolls around, still nothing. Tables that came in after us were getting food and we hadn't even been greeted yet (more to come on the food later).
1020 the table beside us gets another round of drinks and we both call over the waiter and say we'd like to order. He takes our drink order and we ordered pizza. Oh wait "we don't serve food anymore"... uh, well, 2 things: 1) your menu says food service until midnight and 2) I just saw you bring out pizza! "I don't know what to tell you, food service stopped at 10". Funny how we got there at 945....
Then we wait. And wait. And wait. 1045 rolls around and we flag down someone. He says "yeah its coming. We're busy and doing the best we can." It's at that point we tell him what's gone down for the past hour, he then says again "we're doing the best we can". No you aren't!! You forgot about us multiple times. Just admit it, apologize and fix it.
1050 rolls around, still nothing, so we left. Also to note another table was getting brutally forgotten as well as us and they also left.
We were super excited to try PS Air Bar. Disappointing doesnt come close to describing it. Absolute joke of a place. Avoid...
Read moreWe were excited to check this place out after reading so many positive reviews. A group of seven of us came to celebrate a birthday. The bar has a fun atmosphere with themed drinks and a lively vibe.
We ordered a few classics—paper planes and gin martinis. The bartender prepared the paper planes, but unfortunately, they tasted more like straight Aperol or amaro syrup and were hard to drink. We let another bartender know we couldn’t get past a couple sips, and later tried to get the undrinkable cocktails off our tab but they were unwilling to do so. That made us hesitant to order anything else, not wanting to risk another disappointment. It seemed like every table had nearly full drinks left to waste as well, which is pretty shocking.
The space itself is definitely photo-worthy, and the servers were friendly and attentive. However, based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend this spot as a go-to cocktail bar—more of a fun stop for pictures and a quick drink (beer or wine) rather than...
