We are guest here in Hilton for long weekend (Thursday-Sunday July 19th- 22nd) and decided to eat our Friday dinner at the Hotel's restaurant we set around 7:50 pm and ordered pan seared salmon $29 and for me skirt steak $32, after approximately 25 min while we enjoying cocktails we got the food to the table the salmon was good, but my food was literally non eatable/chewable feels like trying to bite on a flat tire, disappointed I waited patiently until the waitress come over and told him about the problem and he ask me what to replace it with, I wanted a steak so ask to replace for the "new york steak" he took the plate in same condition like he left it and said it will take care of it right away, disappointed but still patient I began waiting for the replacement, mean while my wife done with her food and I continue waiting for 30 more min!! so now I'm 1 hour in total wait my wife already done and here the new york steak arrived, try to cut the meet with a knife and i was in total shock, the steak was the exact same rubber texture I tried to let the fork out of the steak and it stuck there like it was a freezed stake that been throwed on the planche or heet in the microwave before clocking the only reason i can think why meet will be like that UNACCEPTABLE. So disappointed and hungry we called the waitress return the plate as is and ask why to do it again?! he had no answer he took it and left and was back with the bill in 1 minute, (which the food was served the same speed). When we looked at the bill we couldn't believe our eyes they charged full price $61 on the food I didn't eat like business as usual, we are dining about 3 times a week in all restaurants and never imagined to get such ignorance, full charge, not even apologize, for the occurrence. I'm a shame for Hilton and this restaurant in particular for accepting this type of lack to non customer service, even if I wasn't a guest here. Say no more. (2 stars instead of one because the salmon was good so I'm honest regardless) The receipt attached below. If you are a guest here or not there is wonderful restaurants around don't waste your time...
Read moreWORST service I have EVER received. I would love to mention the server that took “care” of us but he didn’t even introduce himself. Immediately after telling him I was a team member for a discount, I was instantly treated differently. As someone who almost always tips 20% or above and works in a restaurant, I felt very disrespected. Our server was extremely and unnecessarily rude. Upon asking ONE question about how to apply the discount, he didn’t even answer, he just yelled “WHATS YOUR ROOM NUMBER” back in my face after my friend accompanying me already told him. He also announced to the whole restaurant I was a team member, as he yelled it to his manager for the discount. I felt even more uncomfortable at this point. The food, especially the eggs were amazing. However, the server never came back to fill up our water once until we were almost done with our meals. He only stared at us from across the room when we didn’t need him. Upon receiving our check, the server asked multiple questions about where I worked as if I was lying about my discount. After all that, I still tipped 10% rather than nothing. Yet, upon leaving, I saw him immediately show and tell the manager/host and other server and...
Read more"The food was a bit better than we anticipated for a hotel restaurant" The restaurant is located in the Hilton Palm Springs just toward back of the lobby. It offers inside as well as a small outdoor seating area which overlooks the hotel pool. The menu reflects standard American fare. The Kale and Quinoa Salad, The Omelet Pan are both good choices. The décor is modern with varied palette of grays and touches of bright yellow colored napkins. Service was average. The food was blameless; however, the menu choices were a bit boring. It is Palm Springs, and everyone appreciates an experience that reflects it! Bring a little excitement! But, if you are looking for a meal that is convenient and you need to stay near the hotel, this will be a...
