Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Wilson

Update: it took an hour and a half to get here.

This place is the slowest, most issue ridden Papa John's ever. Every time we order from there, it takes either forever to get to me, or they mess up my order.

I've had drinks forgotten, pizzas forgotten, side orders forgotten, and they even completely ruined a pizza by crushing the box and having all the cheese stick to the top. (They did replace the pizza, but how do you manage to crush the box in the first place?)

We got so fed up with them forgetting our stuff, that we started driving in to the place for pick up instead of delivery. Why am I paying a delivery fee and tip just to have to wait another 20 minutes for the rest of my order?

What's great is the manager (I presume) told us "You know, we deliver to your address, so you dont have to come in all the time." Yeah, we know, but every time we get delivery, its an issue!

I'm currently waiting over an hour for my food to arrive as I type this, and the tracker says they are only just now baking the pizza at the time they said it would be here. How foolish I was to get delivery again!

What gets me is the website asks for tip BEFORE the order is even placed. How do I know how much tip to give if I dont know whether or not they even deserve one?

If this place wasnt the only Papa John's in my area, I would go somewhere else.

Food is great, but do NOT get delivery or you might end up waiting an extra 30 minutes for them to make a second trip to bring you your stuff, you may end up with crushed pizza, or you might even be waiting over an HOUR for...

I don't want this to be a reflection on all Papa John's Pizza places. However, the Papa John's on 25th Street in Easton was an absolute hole. if you look at the pictures I posted you can see there was a residue all over the tables that made it look like they use the mop water to wipe off the tables. The guy behind the counter had on a dirty shirt and the abdominal area was covered in filth. there is another guy who looked like he just got out of prison after doing 25 years I don't know what he was doing there. I saw my sandwiches come out of the machine wow the guy behind the counter with the filthy shirt on was on his phone for at least 5 minutes I watched in horror as he dug into his armpits and then finally noticed I was there. I told him not to touch the sandwiches. I said I just saw you digging in your armpits. While you were on the phone. I told him if I was his boss I would have fired him on the spot.he told me they have a tool that they use for the sandwiches. It was a dirty plastic spatula. At least he didn't touch the sandwiches. There was a dirty jacket just thrown over the glass divider on the counter. This place was unacceptable. I just hope you didn't spit in the food. Anyway, don't go there. Horrible quality of food and also terrible customer service. I ordered delivery at my grandmother's apartment and when the food arrived my papadias were poorly made and so greasy and soggy that they were inedible. The "boneless wings" were not wings, more like chicken nuggets, that were cold. The regular wings had sauce drizzled on them and the cheese sticks were undercooked. All around the food was horrible, so I asked for a refund. Which I was then told that I had to bring the food to the store. They ended up coming to pick the food up, then proceeded to tell me they weren't going to refund my cheese sticks and "boneless wings" because there were a few gone from us trying the food. The general manager tried to argue with me that the wings weren't cold and that they were going to charge me the delivery fee even though I tipped the delivery driver $8. Which I then proceeded to tell him, because he assumed I didn't tip so he was just going to try to charge me. This is the absolute worst Papa John's location, if you ever have an issue with food just be ready to lose some money because they'll find a way to charge you for something and...
