I don't even know where to start...so, this is our THIRD time here. The first time was EXCELLENT. Our waiter was well mannered, and the food was absolutely amazing. It was so good we decided to come a second time about a week later. Our waitress was great so no worries there..my fiance ordered the same thing he got the first time; some kind of pasta with shrimp (I forget the actual name of it) and I ordered the stuffed chicken marsala. I didnt eat any of my fiance's dinner but he tried mine, the food tasted pretty good although my fiance said his meal wasn't as good as the first time. Once we were ready to leave, my fiance and i decided to get the chocolate lasagna cake to go (which they accidentally packed upside down in the box); and as soon as we left the parking lot,We both got extremely ill, It was so bad that we almost decided to go to the ER , but first we called the manager and expressed to her the issue. She was very apologetic and in my opinion, very nervous. She sent us a 100$ gift card via mail, so we decided we would give it one more shot. This time we got a waiter that was very rude, and paid very little attention to us. We felt unwelcomed, and very uncomfortable. Once the appetizers came out I was disappointed that my soup wasnt as creamy as the last two times we had been here.. It was extremely watered down. And just didnt taste right. The main course was okay but not what I had hoped for. I got shrimp scampi and I feel as though there was something off with the taste of that as well. We then ordered a chocolate lasagna cake to go (you can never go wrong with those!) And our waiter came back with boxes. He didnt box our food and gave me a hard time when I told him I needed the square box for my cake since the other one was to slim for the tower standing cake lol. I'm gonna end this with; I gave this restaurant not 2 but 3 chances to prove me wrong. Its unfortunate considering its a pricey place to eat, you dont get what you pay for here and you also leave extremely...
Read moreMy hubby and I arrived mid afternoon for a late lunch. The place was not busy, in fact, we were the only people seated in our section. The host was nice enough, but we waited almost 15 minutes before we even saw a staff member. When the host came back to our section to seat another guest, we had to get his attention and let him know we still hadn't seen a server. After about 5 more minutes, a young lady came over from another section and apologized for the wait. It seemed like nobody knew we were there until I spoke up. We just ordered the soup and salad and bread sticks. About 10 minutes later, our server brought our salad. Shortly afterwards, the woman who was seated after us got her order, by a runner, and she brought us one bowl of the wrong soup. We told her that's not what we ordered and after some confusion our server brought one bowl of what my husband ordered and told my my pasta fagioli would be right out. I had to remind her that I didn't order pasta fagioli, I ordered minestrone. A few minutes later. I finally got my minestrone, which was very tasty, but had way too many uncrushed tomatoes. At that point we were just hungry and ate without further incident. Our young server, who was very apologetic, returned several times to refill our soups and salad. What started out as what we thought would be a quick bite to eat turned into an hour and a half comedy of errors. I hate to give negative reviews, but I think there might be a problem with the communication, management or staffing in this Olive Garden. We've been there many times because the food is usually very good. We have had small glitches in the past, but this was just a very awkward and uncomfortable experience. I hope this helps to correct...
Read moreWent with 8 other family members for my sister's birthday. It was nice that they were able to get a party of 9 in on a Friday evening at 6pm. The servers were really nice. Also a big plus. Place looked clean. That's awesome.
Now the issues I had:
It took exceptionally long to get the breadsticks. No biggie. I understand it is busy. Then we receive our soup. I had the chicken and Gnocchi. My bowl had NO chicken in it and 1 piece of gnocchi! My brother's girlfriend ended up asking for different bowls to replace ours because my bowl was not the only 1 lacking the main ingredient to the soup (3 of us had chosen chicken and gnocchi). Then out came the salad. It looked as though they barely ripped it off the head of lettuce and stuck it in the bowl and served it. It should have been cut up a little more. The food was mediocre at best (my pasta tasted a bit overcooked but I ate it anyway. )... The best part of this ALL is that we told waitress at the beginning that it was my sister's birthday that day (she even ID'd her for her wine) and asked if they can do a little something, whether it is sing happy birthday or something... At the end, that SAME waitress said."Oh, by the way, happy birthday!" And walks away! So my family and I sing LOUDLY happy birthday! Normally most restaurants will sing happy birthday. We did not ask for anything free or anything extravagant. Just what every other restaurant offers to birthday guests which if olive garden did not provide, she could have said so in the beginning. For the price of the bill (almost $200), I would say I...
