Candymaker Ice Cream Shop — Restaurant in Panama City Beach

This place is a joke. It doesnt even deserve the one star I had to leave. We came in on July 25th 2019 @ 2pm and when we walked in the lady at the counter acts as if we didnt even exist mine you we are a family of 6 ( 4 being children) plus another adult, so not quite at all. I spoke up and said excuse me are yall open and she completely ignored me. Then contuined to change out the ice cream buckets without gloves sticking her long purple nails and whole hand inside the ice buckets to change them. She then proceeds to look at one of my older children and say what do you want very rudely. She had a nasty attitude just because we came in and was an inconvenience to her to have to actually work!!!! I would not recommend anyone to visit this place until they learn some customer service and change the staff they currently have. As well as learn how to scoop ice cream, she literally barely gave a half of a scoop for $5! It's a BIG WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!!!!!! Save it and go to Marble Slab...

The items may be good just never got to try. The reason for the 1 star is the customer service. Walked in being the only customer there and wanted something sweet. Wasn’t greeted at all not even a Hello. Told the girl hey I was looking around and wanted to see what caught my eye. Still not a word from her. Not even a suggestion. Not even 30 secs later I believe an employee from the resort walked in and started flirting with the worker (most likely knew each other) she talked to him the whole time even offered him free icecream as I stood there for about 5 mins money in my hand ready to pay. I still waited to see was she going to wrap up her conversation and check me out. Never did. I got tired of waiting for her to get done flirting I just walked out. We are staying in Laketown Wharf for the weekend. Took my little brother to get some ice cream for his BIRTHDAY. We sampled two flavors after swimming and went back to the condo for the money to buy some. When we got back he asked for one more sample and she rudely told him he couldn’t have any more after that. I asked her why she would say that to a child and she said it was because we were in there earlier and there’s a 2 sample limit. I explained that we didn’t have our money the first time and we were buying some now. She said she wasn’t going to argue with me but she still had a horrible attitude. When I told her that I was going to leave a bad review because of how rude she was all she said was “GOOD!”. I’ve never left a bad review before but today is the day.
