We were only allowed 2 parking passes for everyone in our room; not a dealbreaker, but if you will be traveling with a group and bringing more than 2 cars, be prepared to pay a daily fee for parking at a satellite lot

Guests are required to wear wristbands to gain access to the gym/pool that are also inspected and required for entry every time you return to the resort. The issue is that the wristbands were terrible quality. My boyfriend’s fell off after 3 days, mine fell off after 5, and several of our friends’ fell off after just a few days as well. If it falls off and you keep the broken band, you can replace it for free, but if you cannot provide the old band, you are charged $100 to replace the it. AKA, if the band falls off while you are in the ocean, you don’t notice, and you lose it, get ready to fork over another $100

The sheets on one of the beds were covered in tanning products/foundation, which came out after I washed them, leaving me to believe that the sheets from the previous guests were not washed. There were also lots of chip crumbs on the pull-out couch when we arrived. An entire corner of the sleeper sofa’s supports were broken from the frame, so the bottom corner of the mattress would sink through the corner of the frame onto the floor if any weight was applied

The air conditioning was broken or extremely dysfunctional for most of our stay; on the third day, the room peaked at 80 degrees, and we turned the thermostat down to 70 before leaving for dinner. We came back three hours later and the room was still 80 degrees, even though no windows or doors were left open. (And yes, the system was set to “cool”)

The water in the entire building was also turned off for an entire night (with very little notice- one of our FRIENDS from another room had to tell us about it; it was not posted in hallways/elevators to my knowledge), starting at 9pm and ending at 6am, so we had to cancel reservations for a formal dinner since we would not be able to shower/get ready for bed once we would’ve returned.

We also had an incident with resort staff regarding a noise complaint that ended with them threatening to evict us because we had THREE guests from other rooms on our balcony. I will admit fault in that that we were being loud (we were singing karaoke) and likely did deserve the complaint, but given that it was 10pm on a Friday night in Panama City Beach, the staff completely overreacted; it’s not like we were doing this at 3am or throwing a party. They accused us of hiding non-resort guests on our balcony and threatened to walk through the condo and evict us if they found anyone that did not “live” in that room, even though the property owner allowed us to have guests. The staff also refused to leave until they spoke to the primary renter (the person whose name the room was under), who we explained was out at dinner, yet they said that if the primary didn’t come speak to them in two minutes, that we would be evicted. They forced our guests to leave (even though, once again, we were allowed to have guests) and when we said that we would turn the music way down and not sing anymore, they told us that they didn’t believe us and that we had to turn it all off. They treated us like petulant children just because we were young rather than treating us like the adults that we are.

The beach access, pools, and other amenities at Laketown Wharf were just fine, but the issues with our room and staff makes me very hesitant to recommend that...

When traveling on July 22nd to Laketown Wharf we were sent an email stating that there was an urgent matter with our reservation that they weren’t going to be able to accommodate us and our trip had been booked for weeks. Once getting that worked out finally with Expedia and them contacting Laketown Wharf they were going to accommodate us after all. Once arriving and it was after 4pm our room was not ready and we waited in the parking garage in our car till the unit was ready. When arriving the unit was not very clean. The bathrooms were they smelled of bleach but the remainder of the unit had sand on the floors, sand all over the couch and in it, trash under the tables in the living room etc. the comforter in the master bedroom was filthy not dirty but filthy. The fridge was dirty as well and the stove. We contacted Expedia as that’s who we booked through and they were not able to reach the front office. They sent an email as well and never got a respond the entire trip. We would contact Expedia they would contact the resort and they would say to call back, no manager was available to speak and so on. We are due to check out tomorrow the 28th and still never received any type of clean up which we ended up doing ourselves and luckily we brought some thrown blankets from home the kids traveled in the car with because that’s what we used to cover up with our entire trip. Expedia finally reached the resort on the 26th and they stated they never had any complaint which wasn’t the truth and Expedia couldn’t believe they stated that and they weren’t willing to do anything. We are scheduled to checkout tomorrow the 28th and move to another unit through another company that we booked with that’s allowing us an early checkin at noon and so we went to the front desk to see if there was any possible way we could stay the additional two hours in our unit till we could get into the unit we were moving to and the lady at the front desk looked over to the manager and she said who did u book through I stated Expedia she said that’s just a booking company I stated well I’m not sure the company then I didn’t see it like I did on the company we did the 2nd booking through. She said it’s through us and did u contact Expedia I said no and she was VERY RUDE!!! Said checkout is at 10am I said I know that but I know every room isn’t going to be cleaned at 10am. So I called Expedia just to make sure and they had called the resort and got a hold of someone and the manger told them no and that every 30 mins I stayed over past 10am they were charging me $50.00 My sister rented a unit as well and hers was dirty and it was through the resort. She had contact with the owner and she had them come back and clean which they only used Clorox wipes and paper towels. Her room floor and our room floor turned the kids feet black with minutes of being there. The elevators are HORRIBLE!!! Waited a solid 35 mins when coming back from Walmart with groceries. If we hadn’t already had this paid for we would have cancelled our additional nights in the 2nd unit especially after the way the manager treated us for asking a...

Room 210

We booked this as a quick stay over the weekend. As we live here and needed a much needed break. To our amusement, after paying the prices. Every shop was closed. Nothing open. We were under the impression the pools were heated only to find out that the pools (only one) are only warm enough to not get hypothermia in a sense. Better yet, you would need a high blood alcohol level to remain warm in one. To spend two days in PCB knowing that we could have used this money else where to have a much better and pleasant time is an understatement. There was nothing anywhere stating shops were closed up until spring break time frame, again nothing posted on the website. AT THE WARF. Unfortunately, it would have been the week after we left and paid for a great weekend, WE didn't get it! Let me add, we only started to realize what times and days they opened when we started to try walking to them!! I'm sure yall know how hard it can be to tell your kids littles that the doughnut place they'd been drooling over won't open. After showing videos of it, photos, etc. Granted, we did wait for two days, and it never opened.

I find this to be extremely extremely unprofessional and just downright, not ideal. We had kids with us, and we literally did exactly what we would have done at home. As we were under the impression these shops were open and pools warm, we couldn't even use the ONE hottub because it was packed to the brim! The top pool is under construction!! Several elevators are not working!!! While riding one, it even hit something on the way down. It was scary enough that we started using the stairs!

This was a completely horrible experience and disappointment. I wish we would have never booked here. I feel like we were robbed out of our money and time. We literally could have done the same thing staying at home.

Again, this is a horrible experience.

The condo itself was clean.

#The pullout was extremely thin, and the springs were coming through. The shower head in the master was hot, yes!!! Sadly, the head couldn't be moved, so you had to stand at the side of the shower pretty much against the wall in order to even be sprayed with the shower. The floor felt flimsy under our feet, and we noticed prior hole patches in the shower floor from previous damage issues. #water pressure everyone wants that hard water but not when it's so hard you can't stand in the water at all without it constantly splashing up into your face because again The shower head was pointed to a wall and could not be moved

Pressure was so high, which would have been great. Had there been an option to soften the blow to your body or even an adjustment of the head itself so it's not smacking you in the face.

We stayed in room 210. We live in PC We try to do things with our kids at least once a year that may cost us a bit, and this was it.

We are highly disappointed. If I could get my money back and book somewhere else, I would. This was a literal waste of time and money. Everything looked amazing! We got none of the amazing none...

We had a wonderful time. The condo had plenty of space for 4 adults & 4 kids with 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, bunk beds in hall way space, living and dining area, great balcony with nice patio furniture. The appliances were ok, just a few years old. The remote in master bedroom for ceiling fan was no where to be found. The AC froze up and maintenance had to be called, took him about half an hour or so and the AC was fixed. I think there was only 1 elevator working on this particular weekend, so waiting to get on an elevator for 30 mins suckkkkeedd. The distance from elevator to our condo was a good half a mile it felt like. Trying to get into the pool area on the 4th floor (I think) was somewhat confusing. The distance from our condo to the parking garage to our vehicle was about 2.5 miles so got my cardio in. The restaurants at the resort smelled delicious, unfortunately we didn't get a chance to try them. Security guards at the entrance of the resort, bless their hearts, they were just doing their job, but for the love of cheese, this resort does not play about their parking, or about visitors who are not guest at the resort. My sister is a local and she came to our condo so we could all go down to the beach and visit for the day, she was not staying over night, they gave her a 4 hour retail parking pass that was strictly enforced one day but the very next day they flat out refused to let her park on the property at all. Walmart and sensations and purple haze pineapple willies and Ripley's are all within short walking distance, the beach is across the street, there is a cross walk and beach access for guest. There is no smoking of any kind whatsoever on the property. Finding a luggage cart was a nightmare. And to finish off of stay, as I'm double checking required chores are completed, and that nothings being forgotten, the cleaning ladies were attempting to enter the condo, and 1 hour before checkout at that, I asked them to please give me about 5 mins we were literally trying to get out the door, she gave me the snarkiness rude look, mumbled something to her co worker, and they just stood there in front of our door, wide open so of course it got really hot and sticky in the condo very quickly, so I asked her to please shut the door I need just a couple more mins, again got a snarky look, so I stopped doing the REQUIRED CHORES and slammed the door. She was rude and very unprofessional. We still had just over an hour to be out of there. Other than the inconvenience of parking arrangements for my sister, and the rude cleaning lady, it was a very nice comfortable weekend. Im not sure why, but they didn't do the fountain light show the entire weekend?

Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Service is awful and unfriendly, air conditioning didn’t work in condo, mold/mildew all over the ceilings in the condo and bathroom. If the staff suspects you of throwing stuff off the balcony innocent or not they find your room and harass you. No such thing as quiet hours here, all through the night and morning loud vehicles, music and drunk people. Drunk people hopping the fence and causing a scene with security. Security is extremely harsh and not in a good way. Be prepared to feel like you’re being processed to enter a jail. Not to mention if you lose a wrist band you have to pay $100. Witnessed a child lose their wristband, family tried to get in to buy another one, the security allowed the entire family in BUT the young child. This place could care less if you’re homeless for the night because it’s literally quote “not their problem”. Immediately upon arrival staff acts like you are an inconvenience to them. Condo floors were disgusting and felt like they haven’t been cleaned since the place was built. Not allowed to hang towels off balcony or they’ll also find you and complain about that. My wrist band broke and fell off, I tried to get into the condo to buy another one and the security denied my entry even with my name being on the condo payment. Tried to explain the situation and he simply did not care and was going to leave me with no way to get in. Parking is insane and expect to pay a lot for a horrible spot. Max spots for the condo is two and you’re still going to pay for it. The nearest parking after that is a good two mile walk, so get used to walking a lot. There’s also an insane amount of construction going on at the condo with banging on walls all day long. Let me not forget the horrible elevator, took at least 25 minutes every single time to finally catch one so we ended up walking flights and flights of stairs. If you get lucky enough to get on an elevator don’t get too excited because you’ll feel like you’re about to fall to your immediate death, or die of the horrible smell of weed and BO. Hope you have a good memory as well because you’ll need it for this place. Need a different code for multiple different things, including to get onto the beach. And you’d figure hey if I need a code to get on the beach it should be nice. Oh you thought wrong. Drunk kids EVERYWHERE. All in all, would not recommend this place.

We stood in Room # 630. Beware photos on listing looks nothing like current condition of Condo Unit. It's Dirty, Unsanitary and Worn down. Furniture is Old, Dirty...makes me itch thinking about it now. Mold in master bedroom bathroom, mold/algae on fridge water and ice dispenser, dirty cabinets in kitchen. The living room couch is Nasty...dirty, stained and smells. Looks like a old porch couch that needs to be thrown out! Floors are scratched all over and missing the 3 huge area rugs in the bedrooms and living area as in listing photos. Both bedrooms had nasty stained pillows and bed comforters...didn't even want to look at what actual mattress looks like smh! Found mold on a couple pillows, idk how they could rent these families in this condition. Unit had sand all throughout on floors, in beds and on the couch and countertop chair cushions. Also, the Condo Building Fire Alarm went off at 3am and loud speaker in unit went off for 30 minutes straight demanding everyone in the building evacuate immediately ( we have 5 little ones) this was not only a huge inconvenience and terrifying for the kids but even more annoying because there was No sign or smell of fire...the alarm turned off and that's it, there was no assurance from staff or fire Marshall that it was drill or technical error. Later that mornin when we were making our way to the beach I stopped at the Lobby and spoke to the lady at the front desk and asked what that was all about and she said she wastm aware of that happening and said it probably went off because of the winds...this place is a one time and done thing for us. Never staying here again! From talking to other people that stayed at this building, they too have also encountered similar if not worse experiences as we did with our Room unit in theirs as well. Staff is rude and unhelpful. Spend your hard earned money elsewhere, I was not happy with this place and don't recommend to anyone especially if you have a family with little ones.
