Shipwreck LTD — Local services in Panama City Beach

I went to Shipwrecked twice in one week and left frustrated both times.

The first visit was just 15 minutes before closing to quickly grab a boogie board. Instead of a normal last-call reminder, the staff (a group of teens) announced every single minute: “We will be closing in 15 minutes… 14 minutes…” until it got down to the last few minutes. By the third announcement, I told myself I’d walk out if they said it again. They did—so I left empty-handed. As we walked out, they snickered at us. The whole thing felt rude and unprofessional.

The second visit was at 9:15 p.m. for a henna tattoo (they close at 11). The henna artist was leaning over the counter texting and told me she was “done for the night.” Two visits in one week, refused service both times, for completely different reasons.

To top it off, during that second visit, there was a drunk man outside yelling at and hitting his girlfriend over a vape cart right in front of the store. No one from inside stepped in.

Between the immature staff, refusal of service well before closing, and unsafe atmosphere outside, I can’t...

Waited for over 20 minutes for someone to come to the Airbrush section. During that time we picked out the designs, found the sizes we needed, but nobody came. Walked to the other side of the store and requested help from the cashier. She tells me that nobody is working today (Saturday in July) in the airbrush section. There was not a sign posted to tell you it was closed for the day. Nothing to indicate this was the case. I was so upset we just left and didn't spend another minute in the store. I only gave it 2 stars because it did look like it had potential. We were on the hunt for airbrush shirts and it was already close to 8pm so we had to move on to the next place. I can understand it being closed for the day but put a sign up to let people know! Waste of time! So if you're looking for airbrush, call ahead to see if anyone...

After having hair measured for 3 of us the total came to 177 with tax. Crazy for string in the hair. Anyway I said several times that is to much and how high it was but the person never said a word about a discount. While still standing there waiting to get started the person measured someone else hair and she said that to high and the person pulled out a coupon that was either 15 or 10 percent off. I said why didn't we get a discount and the person said u didn't say anything about it being to high. And we all spoke up and said yes she did . And this person said oh I didn't hear you and never gave us the discount . Then the shell has already came out if my granddaughters hair it hadn't been a couple hours and it had fell out. I am not real happy how part if mine...
