I cannot get enough of Juan Tacos, and never will. So much so that we didn't consider any other options for our private function this weekend, as we knew nowhere else would do. Juan was relaxed and flexible with planning in the lead up to the event, taking our changes on easily. Nothing was too difficult. Not only was he able to put together a beautiful menu with traditional 'Australia Day' dishes as well as a few of his mouth watering taqueria staple options, his team was truly professional and delightful the entire day. Every single person, from the kids to the fussiest adult, was blown away by the quality of the spread. It made our life so easy knowing our guests would have happy full bellies and a great atmosphere and we couldn't have hoped for a better catered function.
The facelift that the restaurant underwent recently has kept the character and good vibes but also spruced up the look nicely.
My personal favourites on Juan's daily rolling menu, in order from âI wake up on a Wednesday salivating in anticipationâ to âIâll take two tacos and itâs a great dayâ are: Pork Belly (earns the capital letters, youâll understand when you try it), Al Pastor, Veggie, barbacoa, ground beef, carnitas, salmon, chicken, steak, shrimp. Having said that, I know there are huge advocates out there for steak to be a daily selection, and Iâm just not big on shrimp in general but I still gobble it up greedily on a regular basis. I love that they have the sneaky âhot Cheeto burritoâ like a secret, unwritten menu option â and tell you what, it really fills the void. I wonât go on about the cocktails except to say they are on point, especially those margaritas. Now that tapas nights are happening it's hard to keep away - those stuffed dates oh my!!
In summary, thanks for existing Juanâs Tacos, life in PCB is all the better for...

The birria tacos? Tender, juicy, beefy goodness â absolute melt-in-your-mouth magic! đȘ Drenched in flavor, dipped in that consommĂ© like itâs a holy ritualâI had a moment, yâall. âïž đ
The cat tacos? đ â No, not actual cats (or at least thatâs what Juan says)âjust a purr-fectly named, flavor-packed bite thatâll make your taste buds meow for more. The carnitas are my everyday go-to!
Pork belly nachos - need I say more?! đ·đ
And Martinaâs homemade margaritas? đâđ©Straight-up liquid gold! It doesn't get any classier than a marg in a jar! They sneak up on you in the best wayâsweet, tangy, and just strong enough to make dance, but smooth enough that you might actually think you can dance!đđ»đč
If flavor had a hype man, it would live at Juan Taco. This place doesnât just serve foodâit slaps. Hard. The vibe is chill, the staff is hilarious, and the food is dangerously addictive (As a local, I braved the Spring Break chaos and traffic to get my fix). Juan Taco isnât just a mealâitâs a full-on experience. 10/10, I will forever keep coming and will keep on taco...
Read moreI was recommended to this place by my brother. I was looking for tacos and he said this place was the best in town. I got to the restaurant around 11:08 am roughly 8 min after they open. When I walked through the door the guy standing there said we aren't open in a rude manor. So I sat outside on the bench for about 15 minutes until a young lady came out and said I can come in now. The young man working the register was helpful with picking out my food since I have never been here before. I ordered 4 tacos and 1 drink which cost me $30. Very steep on the price if you ask me. I sat in the back which is a nice atmosphere with a view of the water for about 5- 10 minutes until they brought out my food. On my first bite about half a cup of grease dumped out of my taco. I picked up the rest of the tacos to look and had about an inch of grease in the bottom of my container the tacos were in. I couldn't even eat the tacos there was so much grease. I would like to come back and try again, but after this experience, plus leaving grossed out and still hungry im just not sure I...
