I went to this restaurant yesterday 3/6/24 WORSTTTTTTT CUSTOMER SERVICE RESTAURANT SERVICE GUEST SERVICE IVE EVER RECEIVED! we we NEVER greeted just asked out drinks and the server Hailey walked off came back with the drinks moments later never said anything went to the bathroom for about 15 mins came out never used the employee handwashing station saw me and my party of 5 trying to get her attention she intentionally stopped at another guest table turned her back and had a conversation for about 6-10 mins while I was asking other servers can they get her for us please she heard us and saw our hand motions trying to wave at her. When she finally came to the table her attitude was never acceptable she never said are you ready to order she stood there with her order book and pen as if her gesture and attitude was saying speak what you want ! We placed our order and she went to get other orders before she turned our ticket in MIND YOU THE SAME OTHERSSS RECEIVED THIER FOOD BEFORE US ! We sat there for 45 mins at 1045 waiting for our food when it was only 3 other people in the restaurant and all had their food except who walked in after ! I really believe this is a racism act as we were the only AA in the establishment! I’ll be contacting my lawyer as well ! She has to be new cause I go to the restaurant atleast 7 times a month and I’ve never experienced this here before but with the unsanitary and the customer service I’ll never eat back here and I will be contacting the health department on...

Don't lie to your customers!!!!! I went to Big Mama's on 06/10/21 at approximately 10:00am today. I have eaten here many times before and have never really had a negative experience until today. When I arrive the breakfast menus were still out and the waitress stated unless we wanted to wait an hour that was the only option. We ordered at approximately 10:05 A.M. for breakfast. Not even 5 minutes later the lunch menus were put out and another waitress asked if needed to order. I was told by two other waitresses that lunch would not be available until 11:00A.M. We got our meal and I ordered the sausage and pancakes. The link sausage was way over cooked and I was so angry at being lied to that I didn't even try the pancakes. I then saw customers pouring in at 10:10A.M. and beyond and they were all given lunch menus and I assume were able to order right away as those were the only menus on the table that I could see. I have went to this establishment many times and have eaten an early lunch there many times. I don't mind going with the flow when it comes time to do so, but that was ridicoulas when it comes to 5 minutes. This restaurant is convenient to my house, but I guess I will have to find another spot as being lied to is one of my big pet peeves. Sincerely, a very...

Have been meaning to come in for a while because the photos I see friends post look delicious. They were busy when we arrived, but plenty of places to park and seats inside. Wide open dining room seemed comfortable enough. Signs at the front instructed us to seat ourselves and we found a booth as soon as we walked into the dining room. It took a while before our server came to our table even though we could see her sitting and chatting with other tables. We ordered when she came back with drinks and food did take a while, but it was busy. We had chicken, fish and shrimp along with an assortment of sides. Although it all looked very good all of the proteins were quite lacking of seasoning. The coleslaw was the best part of the meal and it was very good. Mac and cheese looked awesome, but tasted like absolutely nothing and the noodles were the consistency of mashed potatoes. The actual mashed potatoes were good. They did have very good sweet tea though. Ladies at counter were very friendly, but our server was not interested in tables unless there was just a gentlemen she could sit and chat with. Glad we tried it, but we'll go somewhere else the next time we are in the mood for "southern...

We've only been a few times over the last few years due to our availability to be able to make it. However the food, service and portions are unbeatable. This last time we were here on Friday (4/18) our waitress was Marissa and she was absolutely amazing. Our food was so fresh I had to wait on my chicken to be made and cooked. I got fried chicken (white meat so I had to wait for my breast and when it came out it was so hot, fresh and JUICY I was so glad I chose the fried chicken) with mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans and strawberry cheesecake. My husband got the fish and shrimp combo with mashed potatoes and gravy, steamed cabbage then opted to also add butter peas. Every single thing was fresh made, hot and sooo flavorful. We have yet to have a bad experience with anything here. They've grown so much since the first time we ever came that they've had to extend the parking lot! If you get the opportunity to try this amazing hidden gem, you WON'T regret it!

The place was packed upon arrival so I assumed the the best. I was greeted upon arrival and placed an order for fried chicken plate. I was so sad to find out every veggie on the menu was seasoned with swine....smh. No collards, no cabbage, no string beans, etc.... for me. That left me with rice n gravy and mac, 2 starches. The cashier was nice and helpful. The food came out quick and was a disappointment. I'm from The Atl and just wanna say bless their hearts if this is considered soul food. Their was no love in the mac n cheese or should I say cheese and mac, with tons of unmelted cheese and no seasoning. The gravy tasted like it was from a jar and was thick with a weird taste. The chicken was ok. The wing was good but breast was tough, not very well seasoned. The cornbread was dry and crumbly, tasteless....The price was reasonable and nice portion sizes but I wouldn't return. I threw most of it away.

From the time you walk through the front door you are greeted with smiling faces and warm hellos. Looking over the menu I choose the baked chicken with dressing, field peas, Mac and cheese and bourbon pecan pie. Heaven on a plate delivered by smiling angels of the sweetest caliber. The food was amazing be careful if you come here with your momma cause she might get smacked. The chicken was covered in a wondeful creamy peppery chicken gravy with this beautiful dressing accompanying it. The baked Mac and cheese was packed with flavor and love. The field peas were cooked with huge chuncks of what I am assuming is smoked pork. It just makes your sould happy and your wallet even happier. So come from near or far or anywhere and try it all! Don't miss out on the desserts either! They count as sides!! Bourbon pecan pie is to die for!
