Charlie Coram's Place — Restaurant in Panama City

Good Amreican/Southern food at a very reasonable price. Even better, it is owned by a local family. Corams Place has been a local staple for many decades. Even coming here for school in the 1990s, I was warned ahead of time, "You have to go to Coram's and get the Heavenly Hash." People I knew from as far away as California and Washington state had told me this. They brought tell me to go to Coram's on Thomas Drive. As tme has gone by, the Thomas Drive store closed however, Corams has remained a local staple of the area. The folks told me to go were right. All of their other restaurants have been in old Waffle House buildings, decorated with a hodge podge of sarcastis signs, photos, plaques, worn seats and tables so well used the print on the formica was worn off where the plates are set in front of customers; this new restaurant on 15th St. is custom, modern, and decorated with meaningful paintings, photos, and artifacts from the local areas past. I highly recommend stopping in for a bite. You will not likely be let down, and it isn't going to hurt...

The food was horrible I could've gotten a burger at McDonald's that was better than what I ate, My husbands heavenly hash wasnt prepared the way he asked, My daughters hotdog she said it tasted funny and she would not eat it or the cheese grits. Never 1 time did the waitress refill our drinks, or ask if we wanted a to go tea. Then after my husband walked out he was taking a picture of our little girl in the elf. The waitress had the audacity to hold up the receipt and say mam do you see this he didn't give me tip it says 0, I was mortified that she would even approach me in that manner. Oml I went to my car and the only cash I had was a 50 and a 20 I almost gave her a 20 and my husband was like what are u doing. My wife n I enjoy coming to Coram's for breakfast every weekend the last to time we've had a server by the name of Ashley that honestly doesn't need to be a server her attitude does not say she wants to be there and she doesn't take care of her tables as we have to wait 20 min for refills this morning we sat down and she didnt bring silverware asked for drinks and we wait 15 mins for our drinks then when we asked for silverware Ashley smarted off and said that there was none to bring at that time (come on really say it politely not in smart@$$ attitude) so IMO from someone thats been in food industry Ashley needs to go back and learn the right way to...
