*New new edit* It ain't the best I've ever had but it's the best in Panama City. *New edit* I get a great pie 50% of the time, the other times it's below average, today I paid $18 for a pizza that was NOT better than Hungry Howie's. *Edit* Went back today. They are serving parbaked pies for lunch. My crust and sauce were dry and tough. "Not bad if you like 2x4's" is what someone thought of it who asked for a slice. I'm so embarrassed. When you par-bake don't sauce them and take them out way faster. Super great pizza. That crust is awesome. Great service, nice atmosphere, lovely people. If it had a few more pepperoni it would be amongst the best pizza I've ever eaten and I've traveled a lot lot. Went back, see what I mean? A child could quickly count the number of pepperoni on that pizza. That's a 20 buck 18" pizza with roughly 30 pepperoni on it. There is a sign on the window that says they are experiencing supply shortage, that's fine, but warn me that you're gonna put half the pepperoni on it that you should, OR charge me less because I'm getting less?

Had it today 12 Jan 2021. Food was delicious, as usual, and it was take out. 2 problems. I paid for extra meat on my philly cheese steak. I've had their philly before and it definitely did not look like there was extra meat and honestly it looked like the usual amount when I just order it regularly which is not enough. When half your bun is almost empty, it's not enough. Have a look at the picture. It was good, I just think I didn't get what I paid for. I also ordered 2 slices of pizza. Both already had pepperoni, but I asked for 1 of the 2 slice to add mushrooms. They said no problem, but when I got home they both had mushrooms, which was a problem. I recommend this place, it's good! However, NY Pizza, you can do better! Apparently they need to consider what extra meat is and double check their accuracy of their items before serving them. I'll double check them the next time I go. Again this place is good, I recommend it, best pizza on this side of the bridge!

Pizza was delicious! The dough was cooked to perfection, the crust was not crispy nor was it soft, just enough of both to make it yummy. The sauce was not loaded with spices and the pizza had the right amount of sauce on it so it didn't get soggy (even the left overs) We ordered a large salad with their house Italian dressing which by the way, was very tasty. Service was great considering there was only one waitress. She was on top of everything and had a smile the whole time we were there. It is a small place but cozy; a good place for couples (and families) to just enjoy good Italian food, a drink, and chillax. Yes, it took longer than expected to get our pizza, but it was worth the wait. I definitely recommend it.

I'm rating 2 stars ONLY because the owner is a jerk off. Food is good, I have been here multiple times before. Every online source states the closing time is 9pm. Unfortunately or fortunately in this day and age...just about EVERYONE under the age of 50 uses some form of a smart phone to look up everything. My family entered the restaurant approx 15 mins before 8pm while there were 4 other tables seated. Ordered our meal and noticed the waitress turned the open sign off. So when she came back around I mentioned to her that online the closing time says 9pm. She said yes she knew and we apologized that we showed up so close to 8pm not knowing otherwise. She was very nice and said no that was ok, to not worry. Just about the time we get our food, I can hear a guy talking behind us where they prepare the pizza's. Complaining very loudly regarding people should not be looking on the internet for hours, there's a sign on the door. While I know he was not DIRECTLY speaking about me personally, he was still speaking about me because we had not looked at the signs on the door. I did not like feeling like a burden while I was trying to enjoy my meal. We finished eating. I went up to the counter to pay and no one payed attention to me except for the waitress who was cleaning tables. After I payed, I asked if I could speak to the guy behind the counter about something. I told him I did not appreciate hearing someone complain very loudly about customers not paying attention to the sign on the door, and how the internet is wrong and so on. He proceeded to argue with me about how he was not speaking about me. I said that specifically no he was not, but I was one of the customers that came in right before closing so technically, yes, he was speaking about me. I did not appreciate feeling like a burden while I was trying to eat. He continued to argue, and during this I found out he is the owner. NICE. So not only are you sitting here arguing with a customer instead of listening, YOU were the one speaking so loudly where everyone could hear you. I suggested maybe next time he didn't need to speak so loudly. I would expect such from a regular employee....but the owner?? Very disrespectful. So instead of make another 30 bucks.....you would rather whine about it. Get over it. And if you have no access to the website that's not my problem. Find a way. Because as long as its the IPHONE age....people looking up hours online is not going away...

Normally good place to eat. Went to dinner in today March 11, 2024. Ordered large cheese pizza, a wrap, fried pickles, french fries, and kids chicken and fries. Took an unusual amount of time for food to start arriving, about 15 minutes. Received the fried pickles first, then about 5 minutes later the kids meal. About the same time again received the order of french fries. A half hour in still no pizza. It was not busy. Then I hear the waitress state she needed a cheese pizza. Cook says I have no orders waiting. Long story short I pizza was never put in. Having kids with us we told them to not start the pizza at that time as it was time to leave. We were giving a sorry from the waitress, but nothing compted from what we did receive. It was not a requirement but would had been a nice gesture. Maybe comp the next pizza if we were to return. Disappointing to tell a 4 year old she can't have pizza because the waitress didn't put the order in. At least she shared some fries and chick from her brothers meal whilst she waited. My response to your reply. At no time did either the waitress nor cook or resturant owner state that if you cooked it right now it would only take 15 minutes. We however probably would not had changed our opinion as we had places to be and was the reason we stopped for a quick meal. I do understand people are huma. as am I but I gave an honest review. Mistake as such should warrant owner or managers attention at the time of issue, not later on a review response. Just one man's opinion. To the owners response. I think over half an hour of waiting for a pizza was sufficient enough patients and understanding. It isn't like someone came by and asked how we were doing. Waitress didn't even realize we ordered a pizza till over 30 minutes later. Had business not been slow I wonder if anyone would had realized if our pizza was never made. It wasn't till the order rack was empty that the waitress realized something wasn't right, and again it wasn't busy....

I love the pizza, salad and pasta (everything) at this place and we have been ordering from this restaurant for YEARS. I was a bit irritated last time I ordered from them a few weeks ago when I wanted the food delivered, which they advertise on the website, but they told me they no longer deliver and I had to use a food delivery service like Grubhub, which when I tried to do that was going to take an hour. I just went and picked up the food at the restaurant on my own. I appreciated it when New York Famous delivered free pizzas to a local healthcare facility because even though I don't work at a facility, I am an RN with a local health care company. Tonight after work I called around 6:30 to order a pizza and salad. I told the guy on the phone I would be there to get it around 7:30. Ok, all fine, I thought. When I arrived, the sign on the door says they are open till 8 but no one was there, the doors were locked, and they were closed!! The website also says they are open till 8. WTH? Why didn't the guy on the phone tell me they were closing at 7 or whenever they closed??? I am not happy right now. Thanks for screwing over a nurse. I give them 3 stars because of the food, which I love, but obviously tonight something went very wrong. I don't know that I'll ever be going back, after years of being a loyal customer. I'm typing this right now as I sit in front of Marco's in Lynn Haven waiting on my pizza and salad. They're open like they say they are...
