i don't really have any direct quarrels with this place, only came here once with a friend as part of a promotional deal for downloading the app. im only writing this review more because it was an entertaining and bizarre set of circumstances. i came in about 15 minutes before the lobby closed with a friend. we just wanted to stop in and leave without being much of a bother. we placed our orders individually, and sat down to wait. the barista that helped us, as kind as she was, was balancing a workload that was just more than should be asked of a singular person. she was the only staff that we noticed, and after helping a drive-thru customer forgot about our drinks and started to prepare to close. it wasn't until the lights of the lobby turned off that i got up to ask if my drink was ready, but id missed it. she'd forgotten that I was still there, and that my order wasn't handed out. once i got mine i sat down again, still in the dark, to wait for my friends. when she mentioned the lobby was closed, we mentioned that we were still waiting on the other. again, it had been forgotten. only a few moments later we had the drinks and carried on with our days. i can not overstate that im not upset at anyone involved, or at the circumstances. it is however dissapointing to see a company have one person attempt to manage closing down a store alone, which clearly can prove to be a challenge. whether this be management issues or companies looking to save money on labor, its clearly getting to a point where it affects consumers. im not one to write reviews, but after realizing this event had sat in my mind after 2 weeks, it was something that i felt the desire...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām giving a 3 because I love Black Rock coffee. However this locations needs to teach their associates customer service. Also they do answer their phones but apparently will text you. Iāve been there everyday the past three days. They do not honor the promos they have going. On Wednesday I went because it was 5 times the points. The guy who helped me was nice but forgot to add my points and then told me it was linked to my card. It wasnāt. I went next day ordered a drink and told the girl at the window what happened. She took down my number and my order and said sheād fix it. I go the next day and still NO points. The response I got from the associate was āoh I donāt know what happened yesterday, I wasnāt hereā and had no solution for me. At that point I was running behind for work so I just paid and left. I wonāt be returning. They almost had a loyal customer that wouldāve gone there everyday. UPDATE: I stopped by this morning and the amazing young lady working the window recognized my complaint through my review and was so kind to take care of me and put my points to my account! Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt normally go online to write reviews but I felt compelled to share my thoughts on The Black Rock Coffee on n 90th St. Iām a fan of Black Rock Coffee but this location is an absolute gem.The staff are amazing at providing impeccable service while making sure the customer receives the highest positive experience.This is evident in the countless returning regulars that made this location their home for enjoying their favorite delicious brew of choice. Most of the excellent coffee shops and the staff take on the personality of the leaders and this location is lucky to have two stellar managers in Quinn and Mia. Since they have arrived they have taken this location to another level. Their super friendly positive attitudes are contagious and their dedication to the craft would make any serious coffee shop proud. My only negative remark about this place is that itās not open 24 hours a day so I canāt visit even more. Haha I guess I will have to wait until tomorrow morning like the other loyal customers.
