I am rating this a 2 because of the service and how I feel we were treated. I booked Alexxa’s almost 2 months in advance for my daughter’s birthday brunch spot. I booked for 25 guest and was told that they could accommodate us & we would be seated near the noon DJ that would be there that day. Our reservation was for 12:15PM on 9/14. I arrived to the restaurant around 11:45 AM so that I could make sure they knew we were there. We had about a 15 minute wait to be seated. The seating manager then took us to our tables which were 2 together in the back & the 3rd one in front of it but all separated by a plant/tree border wall. I was told that was the only way they could seat us due to the size of our party. Immediately I asked to speak to a different manager because this wouldn’t work for me to be the host and for all of our party to be separated like that with the birthday girl at a totally different table and us having to communicate with each other through the border of plants and trees and us her parents not even be at the same table she was at. I was told that was all they could do even when we were sitting in a row where several tables were empty. I asked and pleaded with the female manager to move us all together and they just gave excuse after excuse. It wasn’t until she realized per her words that I was disappointed and unhappy that she sat another party at the same tables in the row we were in that looked different from us (if you get what I’m saying) down then she decided after us being there not ordering food and refusing to order that she attempted to accommodate us. We had to then wait for another party seated at the back where the other 2 tables of people from our party wereto get up, move, & for them to clean that table for us to all be together. I let her know that was totally unacceptable when we could have all started out together from the start and that we weren’t even sitting where the person who took my reservation said we would be sitting near the DJ. She said she didn’t look at the notes in my reservation to see that but did say that she saw how disappointed I was in the seating arrangements and decided then it was time to do something about it. The servers who were serving us looked totally annoyed each time we had a question as if we were bothering them. Just an overall bad experience for a place highly sought after for my daughter’s birthday brunch celebration. We won’t be returning and hope that someone from upper management takes a look at this so that nobody else’s celebration gets ruined this way. All of my party were totally disappointed. My husband who is a restaurant manager even said something to the manager. He told her that even if they had to separate us at least make sure we were all seated near each other! A really bad experience for such a special celebration and a first time in Vegas. We were left pleading with management for well over 30 minutes....

If you’re looking for an incredible dining experience in Las Vegas, look no further than Alexxa’s. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a lively yet relaxed atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The restaurant’s stunning location, overlooking the Bellagio Fountains, only adds to the charm—especially if you can snag a seat on the patio!
Now, let’s talk about the food because WOW—every single dish we ordered was absolutely phenomenal! We started with the balloon bread, and it was easily one of the most memorable appetizers I’ve ever had. The presentation alone was impressive, with the perfectly puffed bread arriving at the table alongside a flavorful dip that complemented it beautifully. The texture was light, airy, and slightly crispy on the outside, making every bite pure perfection.
Next up was the meatball, and let me tell you, this is not just any ordinary meatball. It was massive, cooked to perfection, and smothered in a rich, velvety marinara sauce that tasted like it had been simmering for hours. The seasoning was spot on, and the balance of flavors—garlic, herbs, a hint of spice—made it one of the best I’ve ever had. It was so good that I was tempted to order another one!
But the real star of the show? The lasagna. Hands down, this was the highlight of the meal. Layer upon layer of perfectly cooked pasta, creamy ricotta, savory meat sauce, and just the right amount of melted cheese. Each bite was a decadent, comforting experience, and you could tell this was made with care and high-quality ingredients. It was the kind of dish you savor slowly because you don’t want it to end!
Beyond the food, the service was absolutely outstanding, and we have to give a huge shoutout to Brad, our server. He was hands down the best server we’ve ever had—attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. He made excellent recommendations, checked in at just the right moments, and made sure our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. It’s rare to come across someone who truly goes above and beyond, but Brad did just that, and it made our visit all the more memorable.
The cocktails were also top-notch, perfectly balanced, and refreshing. Whether you’re looking for a casual lunch, a romantic dinner, or a fun night out with friends, Alexxa’s is the perfect spot.
Overall, this was one of the best meals I’ve had in Vegas, and I cannot recommend it enough. If you’re visiting the Strip, do yourself a favor and make a reservation at Alexxa’s—and ask for Brad! Five stars...
Read moreI’m going to jump right in and say this was 5 Star food, but the drinks we ordered were some of the most disgusting drinks we had all week. I had the BOULEVARDIER - Buffalo Trace Bourbon, Aperol, Carpano Antica, Montenegro Amaro Float, Lemon Peel. It tasted the way concrete stripping chemicals smell, what a waste of Buffalo Trace! My wife had the DESERT SMASH - The Gardener Gin, Fresh Blackberries, Rosemary, Agave, Fresh Lime Juice. Her drink was much better than mine, but I wouldn’t order her drink again either. Onto the food…
We started with salads, we ordered the Italian Chopped Salad w/ Tricolor Greens, Artichokes, Cherry Tomatoes, Pepperoncini, Sweety Peps, Garbanzos, Salumi, Fontina, Oregano Vinaigrette. This is going to sound crazy, but this salad was one of the most exciting food experiences for us for one simple reason - we discovered Sweety Peps, more commonly known as Biquinho Chile Peppers, Little Beak Peppers, or tear drop peppers. These are native to Peru and Brazil, the market for them isn’t well established on the east coast. As soon as we got home we ordered the seeds for our vegetable garden!
My wife ordered the WILD MUSHROOM AGNOLOTTI - Parmesan Fonduta, Molica, Aged Balsamic. My god the pasta was pillowy perfection, the mushrooms and accompanying sauce were phenomenal… every bite was divine. There’s no other word for it… divine.
I ordered ALEXXA’S CHICKEN PARMESAN - Marinara, Vodka, Pesto, Choice of Pasta. Yes, the chicken parm comes covered in three sauces, and yes it’s a HUGE portion, easily 15 ounces. See the pics, every bite was Italian sauce heaven. The breading on the chicken was flavorful and fried to perfection. The pesto was a nice refresher for the palate between bites of marinara and vodka sauce… truly out of this world! The spaghetti was served on the side and sauced perfectly.
Other than the $hit bourbon cocktail, this was the best dining experience of the week. Do NOT fall for the celebrity chef restaurants in Vegas, they all suck, if you follow them on The Food Network’s channel and recipes, you will be sorely disappointed. Save your money and time, and visit Alexxa’s. I’m convinced it’s one of the top 3 restaurants on the strip!
Seriously, we spent thousands on food in Vegas learning where to eat and where to avoid so you don’t have to. Skip Ramsey, Emeril’s Delmonico, etc… make Alexxa’s your first stop, you can...
