I saw this place on social media and wanted to check it out specially since it was advertised as free of charge
Based on our experience, the museum is the angle to get you in the bar/restaurant/gift shop.
Museum is colorful, and unique experience of Mexican culture that was cool, however as soon as you exit the museum we were immediately greeted by aggressive host/or manager to get us into the restaurant, bar or gift shop section
We ordered chips and guacamole as appetizer; which came with small handful of chips (counted like 6 chips) The main courses are overpriced, and the kicker is that none of them includes rice & beans unless you wish to add an additional $5 plus. Luckily the service was slow and we didn't end up ordering a main dish.
The margaritas were disappointing as well, for the price it is definitely not worth it. As it served in a very small beverage glass.
The museum is free of charge which is the best part of the experience, unless you want to pay for expensive drinks, and food eat here, if not go...
Read moreI wish I had known about the food beforehand. I was at fashion show visiting Macy's. Saw the sign and walked over. There was a gentleman at the front. He let me know that there would be a wait for the experience. I was told to wait by the gift area. I'm assuming they run the intro to the experience every 10 minutes or so. A couple of minutes later, a young man asked if I was ready. We walked into a room with a screen and the intro to the experience. I was alone so I watched the movie and was escorted to another room. I was asked to sit and wait for the next experience. The young man said that once the experience was over, I was to exit and continue on alone. The experience is similar to the infinity rooms with lights and sounds. For being free, it was worth the half hour I spent there. I have paid for similar exhibits at Bellagio to see Yayoi Kusama, and it's very similar. I didn't see the last room because I was unaware it was there. It's good...
Read moreWe went in to just see the Artesanias that we noticed they were selling and we were so surprised to learn that they had different displays and rooms. We loved going through all the rooms! Initially we were just enticed by the free show but we decided to have food. We are so happy we did! Our server Jovanna gave us some great recommendations and was very knowledgeable about all the dishes. She was so nice and patient answering all of our questions. She was incredibly friendly, fast, and super attentive. We ordered the Chicken Tinga and Picadillo per her recommendation. Delicious! I can’t think of a better place that has both great customer service and entertainment. It was definitely such a positive experience. It’s not just a restaurant. It’s a whole experience. I’m so glad our server was Jovanna. Definitely try to get a table in her section! I will definitely make this a regular place to come to whenever we...
