Food here was awesome. Host was friendly and attentive. Wings were smoked to perfection as requested. Thank you chef! Picture is teriyaki flavored wings but they have a multitude of choices. Loved the kosher salt on the fries. Crispy on the outside while still having a fluffiness inside. Seasoned just enough. My beverage of choice they didn't have. Something was wrong with the machine and they couldn't get that specific fountain drink to work. (side note: every establishment I went to in Las Vegas had this drink on the menu and either couldn't get it to work or didn't have it available, weird!)
Establishment is located on the strip and very tedious to access just simply because of hustle and bustle of foot traffic (can not park nor stop in front of establishment if you're using rideshare. I drove and parked in the Fashion shopping mall garage and the long walk thru the mall from the free parking garage I was able to enter was exhausting but once I was there, the food was worth it.
Small establishment affected the atmosphere. They had indoor and outdoor seating. Because of its size you can literally feel the heat from the food being prepared, smells great, but it's over 100° outside during midday so that mix was torture. One couple left for that reason. The restaurant had fans but didn't have them on. I'm sure if I had asked they would've turned them on but the way that heat felt, I would think it would've been on. The music was lively and fit the vibe of the area. Bathroom was out of order, couldn't wash hands before or after the meal nor use the restroom before hitting the strip. No wet wipes available to get sticky sauces off your hands, you literally are going to be licking your fingers though, I did. The sauce was awesome. In fairness, each table had paper towel rolls for your convenience.
I'll go back. Want to try the mashed potato and brisket bowl before I leave. Considering the high cost of the strip, this food was okay on the price. My meal was $20 for 8 wings and fries. I just got the combo and then remembered afterwards I could've gotten 12 wings and fries for $25 if bought separately. BUT 8 was actually...
Read moreSome friends and I are in Vegas for a few days, and we were struggling to find decent food near the Hilton, where we are staying. We found this place by accident when we were actually walking to a different restaurant, and boy am I glad we decided to stop here instead. looking for us, the restaurant was empty when we arrived, so the owner greeted us, took our order, and served us. I had the honey hot wings, hubby had the ribs with okra and fries, and the other couple that was with us shared the mild buffalo wings with fries. Let me just say that no one was disappointed! The fried okra is a must try- and I'm not even an okra lover. It was seasoned to perfection, served fresh out the fryer, and was more than enough for two people. The honey hot wings were delicious, and everyone said the seasoned fries were really good. We each left with "doggy bags" as the portions are very generous. I would definitely eat here again, but next time, I think I'm going to try the loaded baked potato with brisket or maybe the one with chicken BBQ chicken.... That's the other thing I wanted to mention is the variety of food options available here... Lots to choose from, so you can eat here each day of your stay without worrying about eating the same thing over and over. The owner is very friendly stayed around joking with us as we ate. I'd definitely...
Read moreWow! Great ribs that are obviously treated with love before they are served. We chose: A full rack served with scrumptious light bread, onion rings & potato salad. This is a big ol’ portion so be prepared to share. The ribs are succulent, with a sauce that hits the ‘homemade bbq ribs’ mark that I always love to replicate. There’s a fruity, smokey depth to the ribs that reveal a subtle hot kick also. Hubby ordered buffalo wings and they certainly have tangy heat. Just perfect tenderness to the chicken & enough bite to satisfy that wing eating experience. Staff/owners were super friendly and made time to converse with us. Relaxed atmosphere as a home bbq would be with disposable plates & cutlery: food served on trays for easy sharing. Great food, no pretentious atmosphere and left feeling full, happy & well treated. Thank you for a hell of ‘chow...
