Disappointing Experience – Not the Denny’s I Know
I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my recent visit to this Denny’s location left a lot to be desired. I’ve been to other Denny’s branches before and always appreciated the consistent service, decent food, and value—but sadly, this location didn’t meet any of those expectations.
Let’s start with the service. Our server seemed uninterested from the start. No smile, no warmth, and barely any communication. We tried to be friendly, but it felt like we were bothering her just by ordering. Service was slow throughout our meal—even though the place wasn’t particularly busy—and we had to flag her down more than once for basic things like cutlery or condiments.
When the food finally arrived, it didn’t get any better. One of the eggs had a noticeable piece of broken shell still sitting on top—how that made it out of the kitchen, I have no idea. The juice tasted watered down and slightly off, like it had been sitting too long or wasn’t fresh at all. Nothing tasted quite right, and it didn’t feel like the Denny’s quality we’re used to.
To top things off, we were shocked to find we were charged $5 for one extra slice of toast. $5 for a single slice of bread—really? That just felt like adding insult to injury.
Altogether, the experience felt lazy and overpriced, with none of the care or hospitality that made Denny’s a reliable go-to in the past. Maybe this was just a bad day, but I won’t be taking the chance again. If you’re used to the usual Denny’s experience, this location might surprise you—and not in a good way.
I won’t be coming back...

Entry logistics The welcome host/lady was nice and courteous. Luckily, despite the PACKED restaurant, we (a party of three) were escorted to a booth right away. A typical Denny's waiting area.
Order and the wait Wait was... ridiculous. The waitress was nice enough to warn us about 20~30 min wait, but by the time we got our food, 40 min passed. For Denny's? Seriously? The only reason we ate here was so that we didn't have to wait long. We regretted not waiting in line for Peppermill the next door for better food, if we were going to wait this long.
Food Bad. I took a photo as soon as I received it. I mean... I ordered All American Grand Slam. Granted, I don't go to Denny's often (maybe once every few years), this was... bad. Worse than my company's cafeteria food, and that's saying a lot. Two sausage links, two pieces of bacon, dried hash brown, and also dried scrambled egg. Take a look at the photo and tell me if that's appetizing to you.
I guess the only positives are the people who work here, who despite the crazy business (not sure why) kept their composure and did their best to accommodate everyone's needs.
I'll be lying if I'll come here again the next time I...
Read moreI usually DON'T DO REVIEWS (Cause I'm Lazy), but I had to do this one. First off if your Asian descent, don't come here. They stereotype, and treated me unfairly based on my "cover". I was there 40min ago (July 16, 2024) round 12amish, and my server ( lady) with Glasses seemed like I was an inconvenience to her. Food was good, but service was atrocious. No quality checks, just dropped the food and go. Bill came to me right after my burger dinner, and I didn't even finish my appetizer yet. I still tipped her cause I'm from the industry, but her service was not the greatest, and they "complained" when I wanted desert. She was so focus on getting me out! I can see treated the other "tables" with respect, especially for me to get out! I even told her from the start that I'm not in a rush, yet came over several times asking to order meanwhile the table across that she took the order from (a white couple) she took her sweet time. I should have not tipped but like I said I'm from the industry so it's in my blood. Either way stay away from here unless you are of white decent. And I had to go take out and PAY instead of paying her while I'm seated with a debit machine to follow Like other restaurants. Stay AWAY FROM...
