Mi Ranchito Restaurante SF Hughes Center — Restaurant in Paradise

Came here today and ordered the Chicken tacos, Spinach Oysters appetizer, and a Mojito.

The Spinach Oysters came out cold. They took it back abd brought it back out hot.l, but it was still bland and nasty.

The Mojito was nasty, I thought it was because I order the wrong one. I ordered a different one and that was was just as nasty. When I asked my waiter to take it off the bill since I couldn't drink it, she wouldn't. I asked my waiter, Ashton, to speak to a manager and she said she was the manager.

I also asked for salsa and she told us our options were green and red. We picked red and idk what she brought out because that was extremely nasty and spicy. It clearly wasn't the same salsa they bring out with chips. I wanted it to go with our nachos so idk why she didn't bring the same red salsa that comes out with the chips.

This was a big waste of $54. I def don't recommend...

Our server brought out chips and salsa without asking if we wanted them. We reviewed the menu and decided to leave, and the server’s attitude changed real quick. She said we had to pay $7 for the chips and salsa, and when we questioned why, she said it was because “they’re only complimentary because we expect you to stay for a meal. And it says in the menu also.” She also said that if we were just waiting to eat next door (we weren’t), we should have told them. So I’m guessing people have maybe done a dine-and-dash waiting to go next door?

I guess when you’re next to Lo Lo Chicken & Waffles, which has a two-hour wait for food and is Keith Lee-certified, you have to grab every dollar you can. Especially when the entire restaurant is empty, like it was when we arrived. We didn’t mind paying, but the server’s attitude about us leaving was so rude that this review...

Used to be a regular here as it is a quick walk from where we stay in Las Vegas. We will no longer be eating here unfortunately. We had our credit card stolen by either our server or by some thief that was allowed to wander through the restaurant.

We were eating around 3:00pm in the afternoon so we were the only table in the establishment, therefore most likely an employee that stole the credit card. They proceeded to run-up several charges on it both here and the next-door establishment.

Many security cameras are in use here and we got nothing from the owners/managers.

Too bad for this experience as we really liked the restaurant. Be extra cautious if you do decide and take the...
