Let’s start with the atmosphere since that was the best part of the cafe Lola located inside the Forum Shops. When you first lay eyes on the location, it’s beautifully designed with various roses and pink decorum. The chandeliers were pretty and whoever designed this building did an excellent job. The service was lackluster at best, the staff offered no help and had no knowledge of the menu choices, or at least didn’t answer any questions when asked. The only + side was the cashier, who smiled, but still even she was like a robot at the cash register. I could not believe that they demean their Hispanic staff in the back when they are running behind. Also the line inside was so thin, you have 6-7 tortas in a row that just squeeze you in and they expect you to stay tight together with everyone to make room for people eating inside. This is a user error as they can easily set up mobile ordering or even have the to go orders be outside. Instead it was 30-40 people in a line inside and 30 others eating inside. I wonder if this is a safety hazard. Worth looking into. Now for the food. The Alex’s coffee, disgusting and lacked any sort of flavor, it tastes like a mix of cinnamon, wood shavings, and grass. I mean it completely lacked what everyone on social media was talking about. If this was supposed to be a super healthy drink, I’d understand, but the amount of stuff I see them pumping in everyone’s drinks, I’d expect a better tasting outcome. To make matters worse, for 2 of these drinks I paid nearly $28 with a $3 tip because I couldn’t stop my excited fiancé from pressing “15%” for reading I spoke about earlier. Overall, this place is a great “photo spot,” somewhere were you can visit and say you went there, but somewhere you would eat at then be disappointed and not come back. Therefore, with the exuberant pricing, the gross coffee, and the amazing atmosphere; this is a place I will not visit again and implore many of you to think if it’s worth it to “visit Vegas, solely for...

Read moreI had to make a purchase at Forum Shops therefore I decided to invite my nieces as they had been wanting to visit Lola’s Forum Shop location. As we were walking towards the cafe it seemed beautiful from afar. Once we approached the entrance, the first thing I noticed was how dirty and messy it was. All tables were dirty and chairs everywhere. We ordered an iced coffee, slushy lemonade, cocktail, and waffles. The cashier repeated the order and I paid approximately $55 and they still asked for a tip. The amount sounded right because I ordered the cocktail. It took approximately 25 minutes to start receiving our order and we received everything at different times and keep in mind the place was not busy at all. When we received our final item which was the waffles, I mentioned to young lady that I had ordered a cocktail and I still had not received it. She went to check on it and came back stating the cashier had not added that to our order and I had not paid for it. She proceded by asking if I would like to pay for it. At that point I was already annoyed my drink never came and then I realized I had paid close to $60 for an iced coffee, lemonade, a small single macaron and waffles oh and bad service. I told the young lady to forget it because that would be another 30 minutes for my cocktail to arrive. My back was to the cashier and the other lady that brought out our order and my 10 year old niece told me that the girls were looking towards us while talking and rolling their eyes. Their service should be a lot better for...
