My friend got a small mango gelato from this place which was $7 (pretty expensive) she paid with cash and was never offered a receipt. She started eating it and said it tasted like fish. I tried some of it as well and it was disgusting and did indeed taste like fish. I told my friend to go and get a refund or atleast an exchange. We went and the cashier had a terrible attitude. She asked for our receipt and we explained to her that she never offered us and receipt and to bring up the transaction or look at the cameras since we were there 5 minutes before. She kept walking away and taking the other orders for other customers and kept ignoring us. My friend was over with it and said “excuse me but you never gave me a receipt can you please bring up the transaction.” She then responded “that is going to take a long time” and my friend agreed to wait. My friend told her that she never offered a receipt and she flipped on us, she said, “excuse me it pops up on the screen and YOU were supposed to ask for a receipt!” That’s when I came into the conversation and said “Excuse me but YOU are the cashier YOU are supposed to offer the receipt to the customer.” She walked away kept taking more customers and then began to call her manager. She finally gave my friend her refund and handed her the money sideways where we couldn’t see the change. My friend grabbed the money and the change fell and the cashier scoffed and made a rude face. This was terrible customer service. She started the attitude with us and we were being very understanding with her until she started being rude to my friend. Do not come here if you want mango gelato that doesn’t taste like fish or if you want good...
Read moreGelato Recipe is to die for. Customer Service is what will make it a First Time, Last Time Experience. I was holding my infant in one arm, and my mom couldn’t carry all the ice cream we bought so I kindly asked the server/Manager, Andrea, if she had anything that we can use because I was unable to help my mom. She said she had nothing to give us. I saw behind her, she had a tray for large order ice cream, if people were to buy in pints, and she said she can’t give those out. She explained that it was expensive. So I asked her, how will we walk out of here with what we just bought. She looked at me without any remorse, and simply said “I don’t know” and turned her back on me. I calmly got my arm ready to carry my infant as secure as possible and assisted my mom with an ice cream cups on each hand. I was scared that my daughter was going to fall out but as safely as I could, I walked back downstairs to get her in her stroller. She didn’t fall, but ice cream was dripping everywhere on my hands. I went back up after to ask her for her name and ask her why she didn’t help out a paying customer who was clearly struggling to carry her baby? She explained that she gets in trouble by the General Manager, Brian, when giving out the trays. She said, it was expensive and can’t give those out. I then explained, that I wasn’t someone who was trying to get a free tray and use it for nonsense, but I was in need of assistance. I’m leaving this review for future references to parents. This place is not family friendly. It’s So sad because some flavors taste great. But I will no longer be supporting...
Read moreI have reported this business to the Department of Labor due to a concerning issue I observed. While making a payment with a card, I noticed a paper cup labeled "Tips," suggesting that customers could leave gratuities. However, there was no tip menu available for card transactions. I inquired about this with an employee, who informed me that they do not receive tips when customers pay with a card. When I asked if they receive tips when cash is left in the cup, they also confirmed that they do not receive them.
During my visit, I noticed a manager who appeared to be a blonde lady, approximately 5'2" in height, wearing heavy lipstick. I approached her to inquire about the tip policy, specifically regarding the absence of a card option and its potential violation of Department of Labor regulations. However, she promptly returned inside and did not come back out, which leads me to believe she may have overheard my question.
Please make sure the workers are...
