After being seated at our table for 12 minutes, we were never acknowledged that we were even in the building much less a customer waiting to order drinks and then dinner. So we stopped the first Waitress we could after stated 12 minutes..She said she would get our waitress that she didn’t wait in this section, although she had just brought food to the table next to us and refilled all their drinks. She did go and talk to the manager and they grabbed an IPad and begin Talking.... gave them 11 minutes to discuss….I physically set my stop watch when they started talking…..11 minutes later still no one had been to our table or acknowledged that we were customers, I told my family of 5 let’s go, it we can make a drink order in 20 Minutes we will never get to eat. That’s the last time for me! I turned to the Manager and the Lady that told us she would get our server….don’t worry I felt like 20 minutes to get someone to acknowledge we were there was fair. Manager said good by! Real smart and sarcastically said good luck! Now the funny thing is we went right in and sat down right away no wait! My family and I will never darken their door again….Chilis is on about their 5th Manager in the last few years, and it’s not getting better…This managers attitude is terrible….I’ve seen and witness him in action now three times. I hate fir the area, but Chili’s will be gone soon. Good luck! Applebee’s glady got is in right away, they were very friendly and in 9 minutes our food was only on the table it was hot and very good! Applebee’s and Paris has stepped up! Chili’s, going...
Read moreHusband and I were traveling and decided to stop for a bite because we were starving. Searched dog friendly restaurants and Chili's popped up so we drove an hour to have lunch (mind you, we passed several restaurants we wanted to try on our way- holding out for Chili's because it's our favorite and my husband really wanted some queso). I walked in and asked the host if the tables outside were available (there was no one else out there so we didn't think it would be a problem). They had just opened and maybe had a handful of customers in the entire establishment. The host proceeded to tell me he did not have a server assigned on the patio so we could not sit outside. Now, I could understand if the restaurant was packed but they weren't. They definitely could have had a server pick up our table but they did not even try to accommodate us in any way. We also asked the bartender if he wouldn't mind serving us and he proceeded to complain how he was the only bartender on the schedule that morning. Seeing as my husband and I both worked in the service industry it's a little disappointing they did not want to accommodate us. People in the service industry rely on their tips- its baffling no one wanted an extra table especially on a Sunday morning when they first opened. Needless to say, we took our business elsewhere. Will most likely not be returning on our...
Read moreI must give kudos to the associates at the Paris, Texas Chili's. Monday April 24, 2017 my adoption was finalized. We have 5 children, got custody of my nephew and after 2 years of fostering we were finally able to adopt our other 3 children. Their ages are 2,3,4,4,7,10,13,16,17. I am a nurse and my husband is a nurse aide. As you can imagine, we do not go out to eat often. After our adoption, we went to Chilis. Leanne Dudley, Casandra, Brittany, Lauren, Quincy and Hunter were amazing. They were courteous, patient with the kids, understanding and everything we needed after such an emotional day. At the end of it all the manager said the bill was covered. I could not help but cry. Unless you have 9 children you can't understand what a blessing these people were to us. In a world filled with bad news and hate, it was such a blessing to have such caring and generous people do that on our special day. We don't live in Paris but if my husband and I ever go out to eat it will be at Chili's in Paris, Tx. Thank you for hiring such amazing people and please let them know that they really affected us with their generosity and kindness. It is...
