McDonald's — Restaurant in Paris

GO IN THE MORNING/AFTERNOON NEVER GO AT NIGHT I don’t write reviews very often but I have to warn others of the absolute worst fast food experience of my life. I’ve gone on 3 different occasions in the evening around 11 or 12 and all three times it was a horrific experience. The guy at the window where we payed was so extremely rude and acted like it was our fault that he messed up. We payed for the wrong order because the line was moving so slow that people were literally pulling out of the drive through after ordering. The guy talked soo quiet that it was impossible to hear what he even said when reading our total. When I tell you this guy was RUDE it’s because he was RUDE. Literally glaring at us the whole time while we had to repeat our entire order and even went as far to insult us and tell us how stupid we are. I was shocked as I had never been talked to by someone like that in my life while working their job. When we went back a few weeks later the same guy was working the register and immediately glared upon recognizing us. Both times this same guy rang up our order wrong. Also that same night I kid you not we were in the drive through for AN HOUR. The only good customer service that night came from a young guy at the second window who handed us our food and didn’t complain about having to fix the mess ups in the order either. We got to talking to this kid who informed us that he was asked to stay late due to the huge rush but management REFUSED to let him clock in. He said it was fine because it was his good deed of the day. This kid was so sweet and management is 100% taking advance of him and doing something so illegal. The best customer service I got the whole night was from a kid working for FREE.

The one and only good thing I have to say about this place is the service in the morning for breakfast is usually a 5/5 experience. Minus always forgetting drinks when ordering on the kiosk the service is great and fast and the food is made right.

It’s hard because Mcdonalds is one of the very few places even open that late at night but you’re better off just starving then going here if it’s passed 10 pm. The night crew has a lot to learn from the...

I watched the employee in the back drop a chicken nugget on the floor, pick it up, then throw it in the fryer basket with the rest of the chicken nuggets, drop the basket of nuggets in the grease. Smiled at me and then turned around, leaned on a doorway and talked to another employee. I told the employee at the counter that asked me what was wrong and left.

Update: This happened when I first arrived in Paris. The General Manager called me and apologized got more information and asked if he could make it right. Being here for a couple of months I see this was a very rare thing I witnessed and is definitely not the normal or accepted at this store. The manager Sebastian is here working hard watching everything. He is very nice to the customers and his staff. The staff all look happy to be here. My family can’t get enough of Micky D’s. We love to use our points from the app to get French fries after church! The 7th street location has the sweetest people working there! We almost always use curbside pickup and the food is brought by very respectful people. There have been issues with not being able to get certain things, but it was because of things out of their control. Once we had to settle for bottled water because the water to the restaurant had been shut off. So even though the water was more expensive than the soft drinks we had ordered, they did not charge us the difference. If there was a problem like the ice cream machine was down or whatever, they would come out to us, explain the problem and ask for us to change the order. And every time, they were apologetic, kind and attentive. For fast food, this location has the best customer service over the other two locations in town.
