Del Taco — Restaurant in Parker

I will not go to this location every again! I waited in the drive thru line for 15 min because I like their fish tacos and other fast food places do not have that on their menu. When I pulled up to the window I was told that I needed to park, my order wasn't ready. After another 5ish minutes, a Del Taco worker came out with my order and tried to give it to another car that was parked in the lot. He finally got me my order, I asked him "Are you sure this is my order?". He confirmed with a "Did you order fish tacos and a chicken avocado burrito?". I did, but soon discovered that they forgot the single cheeseburger that I ordered so I had to go in to the restaurant to get the rest of my order. All told, I was waiting for 20 min! 20 min for FAST Food! And I had to go into the restaurant to get my order corrected :(

When I got home, my food was lukewarm. The cheeseburger was tasty, but the bun was stale and way too big for the size of the meat patty. The fish tacos were dry and tasteless. The epic Chicken avocado burrito tasted pretty good, but don't be fooled by the picture on the menu, there are no whole slices of avocado on the burrito. At most I had a little smear of what looked like guacamole, definitely not worth the $6.50 that I paid for the burrito! I ended up throwing away the bun for the cheeseburger and the fish tacos, wasted time and money. I am realistic, I know fast food isn't the best quality, but it should be better than what I was...

Service here is always top notch. Guys are friendly and seem happy to be there. Only thing I’ll complain about is their drive thru times system. The drive thru operator is tasked with making sure food going out at a fast rate so they are timed. But the thing I’m not sure Del Taco understands is when employees are getting penalized by slow drive thru times the quality of food that comes out goes down. Today crowded drive thru but it went so fast you could hardly tell until you look at your food. I’d say 1/8th of my fry’s were lukewarm rest not ice cold but nevertheless still cold and the quesadilla cheese was only melted of one of four slices. Overall I don’t believe the workers need to be reprimanded for this I believe the policy needs to be changed to allow employees a generous amount of time so drive thru orders can be both speedy and of the highest quality. —— EDIT: review is super old before reopening After reopening: service 10/10 food quality 10/10 I’ve since ordered countless quesadillas from this location and haven’t received a bad one since the original review. I will never visit this location again. When I arrived at the drive thru line it was a longer than average wait extending in to the parking lot. My kids had been requesting dell taco for several days so I shrugged it off and hoped that the food would be good since they were busy. Boy was I WRONG! Ordering process was just fine, an employee even made sure I got my last bag that nearly got left behind. When I received my two tostada's they were placed VERTICALLY in the paper bag with a burrito on top of them!!!! So naturally everything on the tostada was sliding off. Not only did they lack the common sense to keep a tostada FLAT, when I arrived home a queso loaded fry was also sideways in the bag, not to mention the value tacos were very poorly wrapped and already opening up in the bag. Here is the kicker though... Not only did my daughter find a hair in her carne asada fry... SHE FOUND TWO!!!! Clearly the people packing the bags need more training. I will never again visit this location and instead will take my business to the Dell Taco off Arapahoe Road where I have never had this many...
