Was so looking forward to my first experience here but sadly my Mother’s Day experience was so bad, we left when our food came. We got there when our reservation was but was awkwardly having to move around the small space since our table wasn’t ready. We were sat with no menus and waited for about 15 minutes until someone showed… and once someone showed we explained we were first timers and would like to know what to do. I ordered a white wine sampler. My kiddos ordered cups for juice and after 15 more minutes we had to ask for said cups. In the meantime, once we finally got our wine, mine all tasted the same and I realized why- they were all spoiled and tasted like vinegar. No one came to the table so I downed them just to get them gone. Yuck. Once the food FINALLY came, I literally started crying. The croissant was a dry croissant with the meat and spinach underneath. We were given a fork. So we tried to cut the croissant to make our own sandwiches but not successfully. The donuts were dry. The cheese was gross. The pancakes were dry. The egg was cold. We got up and left. Overall, a terrible first experience at a place I was hoping to love and want to...
Read moreI had a friend visiting from out of state and even though he doesn’t drink, we wanted to go for the ambiance. We got there with an hour left before closing. There was only one other couple there so we sat across from them at the fireplace. What a beautiful place! The girl who was working seemed bothered by us arriving and our ignorance of the menu (my first time there). She seemed even more put off when we asked for a charcuterie board. When I asked for a glass of wine and the board, she angrily grabbed the menu and didn’t even ask my friend what he wanted. When he was finally able to ask her for coffee, she walked away without asking him if he wanted anything in his coffee. Horrible service by a woman whose name I did not catch, but she has long, straight, brown hair and was crocheting a sweater that evening (1/8/24). Maybe we were taking away from her project. I just don’t know if I want to deal with that kind of service again, which is unfortunate since I just moved to Parker...
Read moreMy girlfriend and I took a chance and visited them on a Sunday afternoon based on just what I read online, and it was fantastic. The wines had a distinct Eastern European influence that set them apart from anything else I've had in recent memory. And if you're a wine enthusiast, you owe it to yourself to try the wines fermented in amphoras of clay infused with honeycomb. They're extremely rich and earthy, and the flavor lingers for several minutes after each sip. They also had extremely well balanced port wines that were strong without being overwhelming in any respect. They generously allowed us to try a new chardonnay that should be available soon, and it was amazing. Eric, a Native American flute player, also plays on Sunday afternoons and is excellent.
Highly reccomended.
Edit: A year later and we're still loyal customers. Hope to see you in...
