My bad experience with this location started with something that was probably out of the locations control. I had placed a pick up order in the application, I had a pick up time set to account for my 10 min drive to the location and the app flipped it back to ASAP. I called the location and they said "well I can't do anything about that" and we ended our conversation.
I figured I'd take the L and not get my food fresh and hot but rushed to get there and I arrived 8 mins after the time the app told me the food would be ready.
We drive home and our order is missing the fries. I spent $25 on food. In the past with more competently ran stores, they'll remake your food due to the food no longer being of the stores standards. So I drive back to the store, pretty upset but sure that the location would make it right.
I get to the location, explain my situation to the gentleman who bagged my food. Who seems willing to address. He walks back and after a brief powwow with his co-workers, the manager comes out. Manager advises that the food was sitting for 20 mins before I came to pick it up. Which is false. I ask again if they can remake the food given my commute. They continue to justify that they cannot remake my food rather than taking care of the upset customer. I then requested a refund which I was directed to the app to do. They made my fries and I left the store after time wasted and my $25 in food nearly inedible.
In an era where more and more people my age refuse to dine out as it has gotten too expensive compared to grocery shopping, shoddy customer service like this cannot be the norm. It's not like the fries are $1 a piece like they used to be, this was $5 of a $25 meal. In my 14 years working customer service jobs and many many lunch breaks over the years, I have never been so disappointed in a location.
Update 3/14 : Mike the General Manager was extremely accommodating to resolve the issue. Due to this I added three stars to my review. Will return to Arby's in the future due to his...
Read moreOrdered online around 8 pm on Friday night. Walked in to pick up my order, and they looked pretty busy with a lot of orders on their screen. My order was still ready when it said it would be, and the young man who was the manager was friendly and helping out piu together orders. He has been there the last few times I've ordered, and he is always smiling and has a positive attitude, which is great to see. I wish more places had employees like him. But one thing I hate is you got rid of potato cakes and kept crinkle fries. Your homestyle fries were awesome, too, but you got tid of those, too. I can get crinkle fries a lot of places, but I don't because they are not my favorite. Arby's was started by troast beef sandwiches and potato cakes, which you can't get just anywhere. You set yourself apart by having them, and there were times I chose Arby's just so I could get potato cakes. PLEASE BRING...
Read moreThe atmosphere was extremely unpleasant, yesterday evening , a group of delinquents visited that establishment and harassed myself and children and part of the staff, and an American Veteran by being rude, disrespectful and disruptive and almost to a point of damaging the soda dispenser. I was also further appalled that one of the employee a black corpulent female wearing an orange shirt with long braids give us crap for calling the police on these kids as she looked at us with an attitude. Her demeanor was less than desirable and is questionable. I presume she knows these individuals personally and she must be looked into.” Why were cops called, no reason for people to call the cops.” She said this to her female boss as she looked at us as though we were the culprits. It seems she doesn’t care about the place of her employment, boss,...
