Starbucks — Restaurant in Pasadena

This is a great Starbucks location! I've never had a bad experience. The baristas are fast and friendly. The store is clean and bright with plenty of outdoor seating on their well shaded patio.

My wife and I always stop here to pick up road trip beverages when we are heading out of town. On my most recent visit I happened to be in need of a place to hang out while I waited for my tires to be changed at the nearby tire shop.

When I ordered my drink the barista asked what I was up to that day. He was not surprised when I mentioned the tire change appointment and said they hear that a lot. The tire shop actually recommended that I go to Starbucks to wait for my car to be ready.

Over the next hour and a half I saw people working on laptops, couples on coffee dates, and regulars chatting with the staff about their lives. It was a really nice environment to just chill and...

Giving one star doesn’t mean I don’t like Starbucks, but I didn’t want my coffee being made by the slowest Intern in the early morning when the caffeine rush is there, late for my exam. I said, “ I usually get it quick, since your intern is making, it is taking too long “. The intern was making cold brew be like slowly pumping the syrup in and figuring out which ingredient to add while no one’s helping him out. My drink was stuck there. Overall I like this place, good experiences. It feels like a personal experience, like everyone knows you and your name. But I will point out that there is 1 employee that is not the best experience. Notice he will not take money from colored patrons. (My experience and watched him do it to another) You must put your money on the counter, and he gives your change on the counter.
