Popeyes or Purgatory?
Do you enjoy fast food? Do you expect your meal to be served promptly? Do you hope for even the slightest hint of customer service? If so, avoid Popeyes on Road 68 at all costs, because here, you’ll experience none of those things. Let me break it down:
• The Ordering Process: It took 5 minutes just to have our order taken. The total came out to roughly $50, which seemed high. Upon inspecting the receipt, I noticed we had been charged for multiple items we didn’t order. While I figured we could use the extras as leftovers, it was frustrating to see such carelessness.
• The Wait: After placing our order, we waited 45 minutes—yes, 45 minutes—while other customers behind us received their food. Concerned, I approached the counter to ask if our order was even being tracked. A newly arrived employee (who was very helpful, thankfully) informed me that fries would take another 10 minutes.
• The Refund Request: As yet another order was handed out to someone behind us, I had reached my limit and asked for a refund. An employee consulted with the manager, who informed me that they don’t offer refunds at all. At that point, I decided to cut my losses and leave.
Bottom Line: This location is a disaster, and sadly, the Popeyes in Kennewick isn’t much better. I wouldn’t recommend either to anyone. That said, if you can actually manage to get one, their chicken sandwiches are top-tier. But good...
Read moreI absolutely LOVE the chicken but the service we received by the manager brought my rating down to only two starts. We placed a digital order. Got there when it said, went through the drive-thru got to the window 3 min later. No one is really in the store or line. The manager asked me what we were waiting on. I told him, and he closed the window 21 min later we get our food. I watched him eat, whip his forehead with his gloves back hand, and not change them. Garbage cans were overflowing, and staff stepped on the trash and shoved more trash on top. The staff didn’t seem to be in a hurry to do anything, the manager was too busy eating to get orders together or to direct staff. No one seemed to be in charge. When we finally got our food we had 8 cards behind us and I told the manager that we had waited 21 min from the time he spoke to us to get our food. It should have been ready. I usually have no problem at the road 68 location but this time was unreal, I want to start off there was ZERO people behind us and in front. off the bat when we pulled up to the first window to pay the manager (her name was Rachel) was giving attitude for no apparent reason but we brushed it off then pulled up to second window and had forgotten to get sauces but MORE than willing to pay for them because it was 100% our fault for forgetting, she began to respond with “I’m going to be honest with you no because you should’ve asked at the window you’re only getting two” very rudely instead of letting us pay for them. THEN proceeded to state it was because she was the only one on shift. FIRST of all it is not our fault you guys are understaffed take that up with your boss, SECOND of all you are not serving anyone else so why can’t you take 1 minute to ring us up for more sauces.
