Our group of 3 (expecting one more) showed up and wanted to sit inside because it was a bit chilly outside. We were told there was about a ~30 minutes wait so we decided to sit outside until a table was available. Not even 5 minutes after we sat down, a table opened up since the guest at that table wanted outside seating. So, we basically swapped seats.

Inside, we ordered drinks and appetizers while waiting for our 4th friend to show up. We had Nachos - $15; add carnitas - $6. It was hearty with a lot of cheese and beans, which made it more of a meal than an appetizer. We also had bacon-wrapped jalapeños - $13, which were good but not too spicy, with cilantro/ranch dipping sauce. I also had Glass of red bland / troublemake wine - $13 and Honey Sriracha wings (which tasted more like classic Buffalo) - $18.

After the appetizer I was full so I didn't finish my wings and took them to go.

Our visit was very straightforward, no frills. The waitress was attentive and brought our food quickly. With the exception of my wings tasting like classic Buffalo and not honey Sriracha, everything...

First off - this place made the single best Filthy Martini with (handstuffed blue cheese olives) I have EVER had! -- the bar did not have stocked blue cheese stuffed olives; so their bartender personally made some and went above and beyond! -- Talk about SERVICE! --

I had their fried chicken and asked for it to be half buffalo and half regular. Their staff absolutely obliged my request - SHOCKINGLY as this is not something I am used to post-COVID! -- Their staff went out of their way to ensure we had an enjoyable evening.

The price was high due to the drinks, dinner, appetizer and desert -- their prices are very reasonable for an individual meal. This place also had the single best lamb burger - according to my friend whom I was dining with.

Put this on your must visit list when in the Paso Robles, CA area, I know it is going on my list of return places to eat!

The Fried Chicken and Mac was incredible. Even better was their Salted Carmel...

Very disappointing. I ordered food to go and was told it would be ready in 20 min. 45 min later and after multiple inquiries (the food was being “bagged up right now” for 10 min) I asked to cancel the order. I was told I they would go get the manager and it would be a few min. Finally I went to the bar to ask for the manager only to find out that they had not told the manager of my request to cancel the order and that they were “just bagging up my order”. They said they would refund my money and that I could have what was bagged already. I stated that I just wanted my money back. My order was canceled and they again offered me the food. I ended up taking the food which was cold and unappetizing.

My advice, go to the Atascadero location. The food is good and the service there has always been great. There are enough people waiting to get in the Paso location that they do not need to focus on customer service...

Street Side Ale House And Eatery in Paso Robles, CA. Next on my Cali food tour! @streetsidepaso is a perfect spot to hit up after visiting all of the vineyards and hot springs! Located in the heart of Paso, @streetsidepaso has won so many awards and they have amazing specials like pint night, a rotating beer menu and wine Wednesdays! The service was super good and the ambiance is causal but very nice! Perfect place for happy hour/lunch/dinner!
