I will always support a small bookstore of course because we need more of them in general, but I’ve always loved this one even before the new owners came in. However now it is so much more open and inviting (not that it wasn’t before but you can tell the difference) and I can tell that it’s inviting to a broader reading audience. Beforehand, there were lots of westerns and classics which are great but it feels like so many more genres are available now. I see newer books mixed in with the older. The space has really opened up and it feels like it has undergone the perfect transfer of ownership. The most charming bookshop! The offering is vast and covers all topics. This is a used bookshop with a wonderful atmosphere and an open layout that makes it very inviting. The owners are two young ladies who have been best friends since high school and call themselves "the bookshop besties" in social media. They take turns covering the shop and they constantly bring interesting new books (in addition to the second hand books they buy from - or are donated by - the community), and add interesting book-related products. There are little tables and chairs to sit and enjoy a book all throughout the shop and outside right in front of the shop windows. This review is long overdue! Around two weeks ago, I took a friend to this bookstore that had come to visit me from SoCal. Both of us agreed that the vibes in this bookstore were so WELCOMING! The owner who was working in the front too was so helpful! We would walk up to her and ask her for suggestions and she knew exactly where everything was! It was nice to see how easily she talked with all the guests as she really stayed attentive to the customers that roamed the store.

I was offered a bookmark at the end of our visit since both my friend and I were going to write reviews, but I declined and told her I would write a review regardless!
